Most people need to revise the basics of language over and over again in order to master it, and having a good knowledge of how the language works at its core, i.e. its grammar, will help improve one's language skills drastically.
I think the best way of learning a language is by familiarizing yourself with it. I therefore like to conduct my lessons mainly in the target language. Moreover, I will tailor my lesson to the students' needs, a language has 4 core parts (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), and each of us has different strong points and weaknesses when it comes to expressing ourselves in a second language.
I will ways try to keep a relaxed learning environment where the student feels comfortable learning and making mistakes.

I believe that learning new languages is a direct way of understanding new cultures, and becoming a more complete person.

A native Spanish speaker, I was born in Colombia and raised bilingual. When I was 10 I moved to Spain and learnt Catalan and French at school.

Languages have always been my passion and one of my strong points, I have spent the last 4 years learning Italian at University, so I am very familiar with the difficulties of starting and keeping up a foreign language.
