As an experienced teacher of Academic Writing and Business English, and a graduate of Cambridge English, I have a good grasp of what's important when writing and presenting in English. I can provide frameworks and tips up front, and give feedback on written work and recorded presentations as well.
Being Dutch myself and having studied and worked in international classrooms for almost 15 years, I am sensitive to the specifics of the international classrooms in Dutch higher education.
Additionally, I can train you in the art of online presenting, and running online meetings, which is gaining in importance in the post-COVID academic and business environments.

I am passionate about English and communication. In whatever professional situation I find myself, I am always evaluating how the communication is going and seeing if I can help it along.
I welcome students with all kinds of motivations and ideas. The main thing I look for is an honest motivation to improve. If that is present, all else follows from that.
