I am Italian, and I have recently completed my PhD in the United Kingdom, where I lived for many years. I have been teaching at university, and other settings, for several years. I have formal training in language teaching and education, and I am an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I value interactive and collaborative learning, with lessons and objectives mutually agreed to best suit the needs of each learner. I like coming up with dynamic and stimulating activities, exploring authentic material like news, podcast, music and popular media. Learning languages is fun and even more if you practice it with a native speaker. I have vast experience of teaching primary and secondary students in English, Math and Science subjects. My fist step is a two way communication with the parents and the student(s).
