I first identify which points are problematic in order to increase the efficiency of the courses. Then, depending on the student's requests and difficulties, I re-explain certain poorly understood theoretical concepts and solve exercises with him. For the theory, I make sure to explain the material as I would have liked to have been explained to me during my studies and I review the points of the course from new angles in order to facilitate understanding. For the exercises, I first let the student suggest his method of solving because each problem can be approached in several ways and it is much more productive to start from the student's ideas. I favor understanding by heart because I consider that memorization is only rarely necessary in math and science. Once the material is perfectly assimilated, we retain it much longer than if we study it without understanding it. My engineering studies allowed me to better link the abstract concepts of mathematics and science to concrete problems. If the student needs it, I can therefore easily give many visual and intuitive examples in order to speed up understanding. As a bachelor's student in the faculty of bioengineering at the Catholic University of Louvain, scientific disciplines are also part of my daily life. I teach chemistry, physics and biology to students up to secondary sixth grade. (My science classes are taught in French!).

I have a PhD in Theoretical Nuclear Physics and I have taught mathematics and physics from primary school to undergraduate university level for more than 16 years. Students often experience these subjects as difficult and boring. My goal is to make them accessible, interesting and fun. I can provide help for students at any level and I adapt my classes to the needs of the individual student. The first sessions will be used to gauge the level of the student and to set short-term, mid-term and long-term goals. We will then work towards these goals in a systematic way, but I also make an effort to expose students to broader applications of mathematics and physics. Depending on the student, we may also discuss the philosophy of science and mathematics during the sessions. I use the Inquiry Based Learning method in my courses and make a considerable effort in helping students understand underlying principles instead of memorising content. Humour is also an excellent learning tool and students generally enjoy my courses.

The course (and this for the different subjects) will be mainly based on the material seen at school but accompanied by more explanations if necessary. This arouses curiosity and trains the brain to have a concrete logic of reflection.

Any concept learnt with practical application is more important than theoretical knowledge and worth in the long term. I offer sessions adapted to the personality of my students to achieve rapid progress. The support courses are based on all the working methods that I developed for myself from the start of high school and which allowed me to increase my general average by +3 points (passage of 14/20 at almost 18/20). To achieve good results in math, it is absolutely necessary to learn a number of systematic methods. It is impossible to progress without knowing them. This is why the sessions will focus first on learning to learn and understanding the theorems of the course, being responsive and effective in the exercises using fundamental basic techniques.

Graduated from a bachelor's degree in Biology, I am currently pursuing medical studies.
