With both a master's degree in management sciences and a bachelor's degree in computer technology, I currently work as a network engineer in a company in Brussels. Passing on knowledge has always been a passion of mine since high school where I helped my classmates as much as I could. During my higher education, I worked as a tutor in various structures such as Schola ULB, ILPlateform, Co-Study or independently. The theory is then put into practice through practical work (exercises or homework).

I first identify which points are problematic in order to increase the efficiency of the courses. Then, depending on the student's requests and difficulties, I re-explain certain poorly understood theoretical concepts and solve exercises with him. For the theory, I make sure to explain the material as I would have liked to have been explained to me during my studies and I review the points of the course from new angles in order to facilitate understanding. For the exercises, I first let the student suggest his method of solving because each problem can be approached in several ways and it is much more productive to start from the student's ideas. I favor understanding by heart because I consider that memorization is only rarely necessary in math and science. Once the material is perfectly assimilated, we retain it much longer than if we study it without understanding it. My engineering studies allowed me to better link the abstract concepts of mathematics and science to concrete problems. If the student needs it, I can therefore easily give many visual and intuitive examples in order to speed up understanding. As a bachelor's student in the faculty of bioengineering at the Catholic University of Louvain, scientific disciplines are also part of my daily life. I teach chemistry, physics and biology to students up to secondary sixth grade. (My science classes are taught in French!).

I am at the last here of my phd in theoretical physics at KU Leuven. In the last four years I have been teaching assistant in several classes of the master degree in physics. My goal in teaching is to drive the student to a full understanding of the sabject. No matter how difficult a physics or math problem looks like, if you unferstand it, you solve it and maybe even start to like it!And if you understand it, you learn! My strategy is to translate the problem to daily life experiences and/or to show to the student applications of what he's actually doing.

The courses are interesting more developed with a kind of presentation and after each course there is a duty in relation to the course comprehension.

Doctor of Science and Bachelor of Science offers private tutoring or remedial courses in mathematics, physics and chemistry for students of upper secondary education (4th, 5th and 6th / Rétho), all levels. My experience as a university assistant and through private lessons allows me to offer a serious educational follow-up of problematic, poorly understood or more difficult subjects. I make sure that I understand the concepts to be reviewed and apply them with the student via the exercises of his own classes. A block of 2 hours in a row / week for a month, the time to catch up a poorly assimilated material seems to me the best approach to succeed. One or two sessions of revision / refresh before the sessions of December and June allows to associate definitively the subjects and to check their control.
