These are personalised lessons, in either maths or English, created to do the following:

- Fill gaps in your child’s knowledge, that are preventing them from being assessed as meeting the age-related standard.

- Reinforce and cement knowledge learned in school by addressing misconceptions your child has about any topics.

- Build on existing learning and challenge your child with content that pushes them towards working at greater depth.

I have nine years experience working in schools, seven years of which have been as a qualified teacher - working across KS1 and KS2. Therefore, you can be confident that what your child is being taught is in line with the current curriculum.

NOTE: before the first lesson, it is important we arrange a brief call to discuss your child’s areas for development. As with any outstanding curriculum, we always begin by identifying specific gaps so subsequent lessons can be produced to close them.

I can travel a 5 mile radius from my location, anything outside would need to be held online.

I have worked in education for almost a decade and I love the process of teaching. As a fully qualified and experienced classroom teacher and middle leader, you will be getting someone who is able to meticulously plan a pathway of progression for your child.

I take a tremendous amount of pride helping my students develop and overcome hurdles they believe they were unable to.

I offer French, Spanish, and English lessons for all levels. I help with job interview and university exam preparation, as well as lectures and oral and written exams. I assist with correcting beginner and advanced level homework. I offer academic support for children, homework help, and help with grammar, vocabulary, writing, composition, and conversation. The methodology is adapted to the personality and needs of each student.

I like to approach my students to grammar structures and cultural comprehension of the language by a variety of methods and sources such as images, videos, interviews, audios, etc. and adjust exercises of reading, listening and conversation to topics related to their particular interests and personal motivations.

This is a class for intermediate Italian speakers looking to improve their spoken Italian and grammar. My focus is both on conversational fluency and grammar points, explaining why the grammar is the way that it is. My goal is for these lessons to be fun and entertaining, and we will decide together the topic of conversation for that lesson so that is something that interests you and that you want to talk about!

Spanish is the 4th most spoken language in the world, and being able to speak another language is becoming more and more desirable. As an A* Spanish student myself, I understand how difficult it can be to grasp a language in a classroom of 30 students. During my hour of tuition I will go through conjugating tenses in depth, speaking and writing skills.

Furthermore English literature is also my strong suite as an A* English student. I specialise specifically in GCSE English literature (Edexcel exam board) but will happily tutor for any other exam board. In English tutoring sessions I will go through key themes of plays/novels in depth and set essays once the student feels more confident. Before then, I will go through sample essays to discuss what went well and what could be improved.

I specialise in tutoring maths for age 3-11. I am a PGCE graduate ( primary school). I have worked in schools for the past 3 years.

My goal is to first acknowledge what my students already know and also understand what my students need more focus on. I will teach multiple methods and go through them step by step. I will be setting homework every lesson and provide feedback on the progress the student is making.
