He estudiado ópera y canto lírico desde los 12 años además de canto jazz, coral y de musicales. Llevo actuando en musicales desde el 2015
Estos estudios me han dado un montón de herramientas para poder adaptarme a lo que cada alumno necesita y quiere, porque lo principal es que no dejemos de disfrutar de la música.

Mis clases están basadas en tres fundamentos. El primero es tener un método claro, que parte del funcionamiento real de la voz, la fisiología (lo que dice la ciencia sobre cómo usamos el cuerpo para cantar) y que se puede aplicar a cualquier persona, paso a paso y con sentido. Siempre pongo en primer lugar la salud vocal del alumno, y me apoyo en lo que está comprobado científicamente. Uso un lenguaje sencillo, sin tecnicismos innecesarios, para que todo sea fácil de entender y tenga lógica.

El segundo es lo emocional y psicológico. Para mí es clave conectar con la persona que tengo delante, entender cómo piensa, cómo se percibe, qué le bloquea y qué le motiva. Así puedo adaptar las clases a su manera de ser y a sus objetivos. Intento crear un ambiente relajado, con respeto, confianza y también sentido del humor, donde cada uno se sienta libre y cómodo. No todos nacemos con la voz que nos gustaría, pero todos podemos desarrollar lo que tenemos, y en ese camino el canto se convierte también en una forma de conocerse y aceptarse mejor.

Y el tercero es la entrega y la seriedad con las que vivo este trabajo, que me apasiona de verdad.

Todas las clases se dividen en el calentamiento y vocalización, la segunda parte estará dedicada al trabajo de una obra adaptada al nivel del alumno y al estilo que más le guste. Independientemente del estilo y del nivel se establecerá una base de canto lírico.

Mi nombre es Carolina y soy cantante, pedagoga vocal, actriz musical y amante absoluta de la voz 🎶. Llevo más de 10 años entre escenarios, estudios y aulas (como alumna y como docente), explorando a fondo el instrumento vocal desde el arte... y desde la ciencia.

Crecí cantando en coros, teatros y grupos musicales, y sigo haciéndolo: porque antes que profe, fui alumna apasionada, curiosa, a veces insegura y siempre hambrienta de aprender. Clases de batería y percusión con diferentes metodologías en función de los objetivos del alumno. Desde clases para quienes se inician en el mundo de la batería hasta clases especiales de refuerzo para alumnos que estudian música en grado medio.

Ofrezco clases en casa donde prepararé al alumno para superar sus retos y lo ayudaré a lograr su sueño de ser un gran músico. In my lessons we can work on various styles from pop and jazz to classical. We will work on building technique, music reading, playing from chord symbols, improvising and playing by ear. The joy of playing the piano, and making music together are core values in my lessons. Hallo, mijn naam is Marlou. Ik was 9 jaar toen ik voor het eerst een gitaar vasthield. Het was liefde op het eerste gezicht. Mijn gitaar heb ik altijd bij me. Sinds tien jaar geef ik les en een van mijn leerlingen sprak na een jaar gitaarles de onvergetelijke zin uit: “Mijn gitaar is mijn soulmate”. Met een gitaar heb je een vriend voor het leven. Ik gun het iedereen om dat te ervaren.
Iedereen leert anders. De één wil noten leren en bladmuziek voor zich zien, de ander speelt op gehoor. Sommigen willen eerst een liedje horen en zingen zonder gitaar, anderen willen meteen meespelen. Het kan allemaal. In de eerste les mag je zeggen wat je wil leren en daar pas ik mijn lessen op aan.
Na elke les geef ik je oefeningen mee om thuis mee aan de slag te gaan. Hoe vaker je thuis oefent, hoe sneller we kunnen gaan in de lessen. Wanneer je wil, kan je de les in audio opnemen, zodat je thuis de les nog eens kan naluisteren en erbij kan oefenen.
Je leert van mij alle basisakkoorden. Waar ik heel goed op let is je gitaarhouding en de manier waarop je je handen en vingers op de gitaar zet. Hoe beter je de basisgrepen beheerst hoe makkelijker het later is om nieuwe en ingewikkeldere dingen te leren. Ook kan ik je leren tokkelen op de gitaar. En als je daarvoor interesse hebt kan ik je noten leren lezen.

Als je ook wil leren zingen terwijl je speelt kan ik je eenvoudige truckjes leren die het zingen makkelijker maken. Ik ben géén zanglerares, maar heb door mijn eerste opleiding logopedie, door de CVT zanglessen (Complete Vocal Training) en door mijn podiumervaring als zangeres, veel kennis over het aanleren van de goede ademhaling en het trainen van je ademsteun. Ook kan ik je leren om je van je verlegenheid af te helpen, mocht je dat zijn. Spelen en zingen tegelijkertijd wordt dan heel leuk.

Hi there,

I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 and was immediately hooked. Within a year I started playing in youth bands and projects, and during high school I moved to a music school where I began performing with bands and teaching guitar to kids as my first job. I later completed two bachelor’s degrees, the second in jazz guitar, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since then I’ve been working full time as a session guitarist, songwriter, and musical director with artists like Karsu, Alain Clark, Ruth Jacott, Jennie Lena, and many others, as well as releasing my own music as an independent artist under my stage name Jessy Hay. I’m extremely passionate about music theory, ear training, and music history, and I try to combine all of these with practical approaches to create a complete package for guitar enthusiasts.

Over the years I’ve developed many methods and seen hundreds of students grow from being stuck on the instrument to becoming full-on improvisers and composers across many genres. I love to combine the theory and improvisation I’ve learned from jazz, together with the groove and rhythm from funk and soul, the attitude from rock, and the production and songwriting skills from pop music. I’m also very interested in Middle Eastern music, for students who want to explore other scales, Maqams, and musical languages. Lessons usually start by discussing the student’s goals and current level, followed by exercises and pieces tailored to their needs. I also provide guidance on instrument setup, tone, and technique, to ensure a solid foundation. My aim is to give students a full 360° view of music: understanding the language, knowing what you’re doing, and developing your own ways of improving by becoming more familiar with both the instrument and the musical language itself.
