My name is Francisco, I am an Argentinian guitarist currently living in Brussels. I am finishing my studies at the conservatory (KCB), but I have been playing for most of my life and teaching privately and in music academics for a few years already. Although my main focus musically is in jazz and improvisation in general, I am also into funk, blues, rock, pop, indie and folk. I would define my teaching style as flexible, in the sense that I believe in building a programme together with each of my students, in the which his or her specific musical interests are covered and the same time, diving into and developing the areas which I consider fundamental, regardless of the musical style or genre: rhythm and time feel, sound, technique, posture and fretboard knowledge. Some of the topics that we will cover: Repertoire (learning songs) Triads and scales Chords Metronome exercises Picking Left and right hand coordination And more!

Guitar teacher for many years, I am passionate about jazz, blues, folk and fingerpicking. My classes cover the basics of these different styles in a relaxed manner. Smoothly stringing together chords, exploring different rhythms, correctly placing a melody, trying improvisation (jazz, blues, rock), and developing finger playing techniques (classical or folk) are all central elements of the learning process. These are eventually deepened by notions of music theory and/or music theory. Teacher trained in the "Arc-en-Sons" method, I also teach children from 4 years old Classes are for Beginner and Intermediate levels. Individual lessons (20, 30 or 60 minutes). Group lessons (up to 4 participants). Hope to meet you!

Posture and comfort with the instrument are the foundation for playing the guitar. I often make the connection with other musical instruments such as percussion, wind instruments and singing. Separating and understanding the roles of the two hands is another important step in the course. One hand plays the rhythm and the other plays the notes on the fretboard. There are many exercises to develop the knowledge and skills of both hands.

Having an extra skill is often an advantage in life. ;-) I am based in Saint-Gilles but I can also travel or give lessons via webcam.

I will be happy to discuss your or your child's needs and craft a course with you! Learning to play the classical guitar is a very fascinating experience. Studying this instrument allows a very simplified approach to the most diverse musical genres with various types of guitar (electric, acoustic, semi-acoustic) and, above all, gives you a broad view of music in general. Over the years, I have acquired a great deal of experience in the field of concert performance and international competitions, which allows me to take a considered and targeted approach to teaching this instrument. I am waiting for you :)

Trained at the Music Academy International (France) in both disciplines, I offer private guitar lessons focused on current music (rock, blues, funk, soul, jazz, etc.) and adapted to the demands of each student. My classes are open to everyone, children and adults, beginners or advanced. I attach great importance to understanding the technical tools used. A typical hour of lessons is therefore divided between pure technical work accompanied by clear explanations and practice on pieces to play or sing. If the student wishes, I also teach the more theoretical aspects of music, such as harmony (scales, chords, modes, improvisation), music theory, rhythm, ear training, and sight reading. I also offer coaching sessions. These are non-regular sessions aimed at targeting work on specific aspects of the requested repertoire. Each lesson is accompanied by support (paper or audio) so you can work again at home. For guitar lessons, an instrument can be made available and for singing lessons, I accompany the student on the piano or guitar (it is also possible to use accompaniment tracks when the tones and tempos are suitable). Classes are given at my location, a 5-minute walk from the La Chasse crossroads. Flexible hours (day or evening)

Playing guitar - like any music instrument - is an amazing skill to have, but often making the progress you want to - despite the countless on-line courses or video - can feel difficult, Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or you've been stuck in the same riffs for years, I'll unlock your musical potential using songs you actually love. No boring scales or classical pieces you'll never play at a campfire. My method uses chart hits, classics, or good old rock songs as your learning foundation – and your favourites too, because when you're excited about what you're playing, progress happens naturally. Alongside chords and strumming, you will also explore some solos and riffs. Each lesson is structured to be fun, motivating, and adapted to your pace so you always feel confident moving forward. For beginners and intermediates, adults and children. Ukulele lessons also available.
