I like to help all students who now need support in homeschooling with their tasks and cannot explain things to themselves without a teacher. I am also happy to help children with tutoring needs. It is important to me to work out a structure with the children so that they do not have to rely on my help in the long term, but learn how to deal with new, unknown and challenging tasks themselves and how to master them successfully, because this also increases motivation and the curiosity about new things, but above all the belief and trust in / in one's own abilities. Up to 10th grade, regardless of the type of school, also upper level by arrangement. Apart from this focus, I am also happy to help in all other age ranges by prior arrangement.

Born in Paris, passionate about History and Literature, I propose to give language or history lessons. Having lived in the UK English is not a problem for me. The courses can cover all the concepts of these fields. However, it would be welcome to plan what the lesson will cover in advance, so that I can prepare it as well as possible.

Bonjour à tous ! I am Anne, I come from the beautiful and rainy Bretagne, in France, and I settled in the beautiful, and less rainy Berlin. As I'm myself learning German, I understand the struggles you face when you learn a new language. I know that it is sometimes hard to dive into this new world and how much a safe atmosphere is important when it comes to make this challenge self-rewarding and stay motivated. That's why, after a first meeting, we'll define together your needs and personal objectives, so that I can adapt my lessons. We'll answer two important questions : what goals do you want to achieve (focus on oral skills, pass an exam, understand verbs’ conjugation...) and how do you personally find motivation ? Positive emotions and motivation help us memorize better, like repetition. So, depending on which learner you are, we can resort to games, flash-cards, mind-maps, creative activities so as to solicit imagination and have fun... You can propose themes (and I have a bunch in stock), so that I build courses that would help you learning by working on subjects you're interested in. I'm a caring and enthusiastic teacher, you're more than welcome to try a first course with me, and see if it suits you !

Student in Berlin in master of philosophy, mention TB at the baccalaureate, I speak English and German, and I master Greek and Latin, I offer courses at all levels (primary, middle school, high school and adult) in French, English, literature and philosophy. Especially for French, I favor oral skills and gaining confidence in the language to be learned. Using videos, authentic written or oral documents, I hope that in each hour the four skills are implemented. Speak, write (active), understand text and understand audio. By operating in this way, with the help of textbooks operating by language level, I hope to encourage students and show them that a language can be learned, with gradual and well-defined progress! the goal is to learn little by little, and to trust each other!
