Mathematics for Middle School and High School (7-17)Translate this text using Google Translate.

his mathematics class is designed to support and challenge students aged 7 to 17, adapting to their school level, learning pace, and individual goals. Whether a student is building foundational skills, catching up, or aiming to excel, the class provides a structured, engaging, and confidence-building learning environment. What the Class Will Be Like 1. Personalized Learning: Each student’s current level is assessed first. Lessons are tailored to match school curriculum requirements and personal strengths or difficulties. Younger students focus on understanding concepts, while older students work on accuracy, speed, and depth of problem-solving. 2. Concept-First Approach: Emphasis is placed on why mathematics works, not just memorizing formulas. Concepts are explained using simple language, visuals, real-life examples, and step-by-step reasoning. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely and think out loud. 3. Age-Appropriate Topics: Ages 7–10: Number sense, basic arithmetic, fractions, shapes, measurements, and logical thinking through games and activities. Ages 11–14: Integers, ratios, percentages, algebra basics, geometry, data handling, and word problems. Ages 15–17: Advanced algebra, equations, functions, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, statistics, and exam-oriented problem solving. 4. Interactive and Engaging Sessions: Lessons include practice problems, short challenges, quizzes, and guided problem-solving. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities to build confidence. Students are taught multiple methods to solve problems, helping them choose what works best for them. 5. Skill Development Beyond Exams: Logical reasoning and analytical thinking Time management and structured problem-solving Confidence in approaching unfamiliar questions independently 6. Regular Feedback and Progress Tracking: Continuous feedback is given to students and parents. Weak areas are revisited until clarity is achieved. Improvement is tracked over time, not just through marks but through understanding. Learning Environment: The class atmosphere is supportive, patient, and motivating, ensuring students feel comfortable learning at their own pace while being gently challenged to grow. Goal of the Class: To help students not just do mathematics, but understand it, enjoy it, and feel confident using it—both in school and beyond.

Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach one-to-one Maths and Physics to GCSE, A-Level and university students, online and in person around Birmingham. I hold an MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Chester, where I now teach and assess postgraduate students as a visiting lecturer. Alongside that I've been tutoring privately for several years, across GCSE, A-Level and first-year university modules. I've published two international conference papers, so the maths I teach isn't something I learned once and repeat from a textbook. I use it. What I cover: GCSE Maths and Physics, all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics University Maths and engineering modules for science and engineering students Individual topics including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics and logic How I teach: Every student starts in a different place, so the first thing I do is find out what they actually understand rather than what the syllabus assumes they should. From there I break difficult ideas into small steps, work through plenty of examples, and set focused practice between sessions. I care more about a student knowing why a method works than memorising the steps, because understanding is what survives exam pressure when a question is worded unfamiliarly. Lessons are structured but relaxed. Students should feel comfortable asking the questions they think are silly, because those are usually the ones that matter most. I'm patient with mistakes and honest about what still needs work. If a student isn't ready for a topic, I'll say so and we'll go back a step rather than pretend otherwise. Term has just started, which is the best point in the year to build a routine before mocks in November and December. If your child is beginning Year 11 or Year 13, or retaking GCSE Maths this November, putting support in place now makes a real difference by the time the real papers arrive.

French high school mathematics program — specialized mathematics, advanced mathematics, Baccalaureate preparationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

French high school mathematics program — specialized mathematics, advanced mathematics, Baccalaureate preparationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Videoconference courses for Second, First and Final year of the French program, specializing in mathematics and expert mathematics. The first year of high school is crucial. It's when students and their families decide whether to continue or drop their chosen specialization, and this decision will shape their entire post-secondary path: access to engineering schools, preparatory classes, and scientific and economic fields of study. A negative first year can close doors that are difficult to reopen. Master's degree in Operations Research (applied mathematics), more than five years of private tutoring for students in the AEFE network and the Mission laïque. Covered program Second year — functions, vectors, statistics and probabilities, algorithms First specialty — sequences, differentiation, quadratic polynomials, dot product, conditional probabilities Final year specialization — limits, continuity, logarithms and exponentials, integration, counting, binomial law, geometry in space Advanced mathematics — complex numbers, arithmetic, matrices and graphs Preparing for the Baccalaureate exam: sample questions, time management, writing Method I begin by identifying where the student is actually losing points: understanding the material, choosing the right method, or writing style. These are three different problems that require three different approaches. We then work on past exam papers and sample questions, under exam conditions. I also support students enrolled in CNED and those preparing for their post-baccalaureate orientation. Courses in French and English.

Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor.

Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.
