My name is Roman and I have been a composer of electronic music for about ten years. A multi-instrumentalist, I began my musical adventure by playing the guitar and then the piano. After obtaining my Brevet d'Études Musicales, I trained in Computer-Assisted Music (MAO), composition, audio mixing and mastering techniques. I work on Ableton Live software. Today, as an artist-author, I regularly partner with other artists and contribute to a wide variety of live performance and music-for-image projects. For the 2024-2025 season, I am participating in several artistic residencies and stage performances. There are tricks, tips, and specific ways of working for each project that many people don't know. I'm here to teach you, from A to Z, all the techniques, basic and advanced, of this wonderful software for creation, sound design, and production: Ableton Live. I have been working intensively with Ableton Live for over 20 years. I have been a professional musician and producer for over 20 years with several tours and albums to my credit. I want to share my knowledge with those who are eager to learn. Or simply to awaken the music lover within you, but also to introduce younger generations to music. From beginner to expert, there is always, at some point, a need for outside help. And that's where I come in! I don't have a pre-established lesson plan, I adapt to each student. I’m a Music Producer with experience in sound design and composition for moving image. I have been using Ableton as my main daw for 12 years for electronic music production, ranging from pop and experimental music to studio recording sessions. 
In the last few years, I’ve been focusing on assisting producers and songwriters with developing and improving their live electronic performance workflow. I can also provide consultancy on this topic, whether you’re interested in performing or rearranging your material. This course is recommended for anyone who wants to discover the basics of Ableton Live or learn new music production techniques to extend their practice.
