Songwriting - My approach to songwriting is this - anyone can write a song! My goal is to show you some simple, fun, practical and effective methods of how you can write a song (you don't even need to be able to play an instrument!). Once you finish your song, you'll also have the opportunity to record it if you desire to do so (these lessons can tie in very well with the music production lessons). We will cover topics such as: Lyrics Chords Melody Structure Co-writing Music production - After the initial stages of writing the song, you'll learn how to record it and turn it into a sonically awesome sounding piece of music. We'll cover topics such as: Recording Editing Mixing Mastering MIDI Programming (drums and synthesized sounds) Effects Dynamics Equalisation Genres/Styles: Rock and pop Acoustic/singer-songwriter Orchestral Gospel Soundtrack/instrumental Releasing your music - After developing your song to an excellent standard, you'll then have an opportunity to learn how to share it with the world on iTunes, Spotify and other digital music stores. Besides his formal music education (a bachelor's in composition, a teaching degree from the music academy in Jerusalem, and a master's in composition from Codarts, Rotterdam), Eyal has acquired experience in a wide range of various musical styles, including Rock, Blues, Jazz, classical music, electronic music, and contemporary music, on which he bases his rich approach which can be adjusted to every student separately. Solos, chords, improvisations, heavy distortion or acoustic guitar, playing at a party or jumping on stages, reading notes, or playing by ear. Maybe you know exactly what you want, and maybe you are not sure. In Eyal's view, the job of the teacher is to help you find that out, and guide you through your process.
