Playing the piano is so much fun 🙂 My main goal is to teach you how to express oneself through music.

* The level will be adapted to each student
* With beginners, we will get to know the instrument and playfully start with the basics
* For advanced students, the focus will be on using the correct technique (hand relaxation, fingering...) to achieve the desired sound
* Together we will explore the sound of the piano, its colours and different effects
* Learn the basics or deepen your knowledge of harmony

LANGUAGES: German/English/Slovenian/Hungarian/Croatian

Want to discover more? Let's go on this musical journey together 🙂

Acerca de mí
Hello!
I am Sara (25) and I come from Slovenia. I moved to Zurich in September 2023 to start my MA in Music Pedagogy at ZHdK.
Playing piano is my passion since childhood, so I gained a lot of performance experience at competitions and festivals in Slovenia and abroad, both solo and in a chamber music group.
I dedicate more and more time to teaching as well lately. I enjoy getting to know new people and teaching them how to express through music. I also enjoy it because I can learn as well in the process.
I have teaching experience with people of all ages. Beginners, advanced pianists, children, you are all welcome! 🙂

I performed as a soloist with the Conservatory’s string quartet and orchestra at the Slovenian National Theatre in Maribor, and with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra at the Slovenian Philharmonic under the baton of Catherine Larsen - Maguire. I am a prize winner of national and international competitions (TEMSIG 2016 – golden prize and the golden plaque, TEMSIG 2019 – silver plaque, TEMSIG 2022 – golden plaque and first prize, Jurica Murai Varaždin 2016 – second prize, Banjalučki bijenale 2018 (higher age category) – first prize and first place, International Piano Competition in Rome 2019 – second prize, Ohrid pearls international competition for young musicians 2022 – second prize).
