It speeds up your creation process enormously if you know the software well. Otherwise it can take a long time and you get discouraged faster. In addition to Ableton Live, I am also starting to know Max. This is not a DAW but a visual programming language that is often used by artists because you do not have to learn to write code for it right away. You can use it to make music, but also for lights and video. It is a very deep program with many possibilities. I can give you the basics of this.
