I completed my 5-year conservatory education in the Composition Department. During this time, I received comprehensive training in harmony, composition, and piano. Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in Codarts Rotterdam. I offer piano and solfège lessons for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Additionally, I provide classical harmony and composition training to help you create your own pieces. Furthermore, I offer solfège and ear training tailored to the requirements of the conservatory you wish to enter.

Enjoy the beauty of playing a musical instrument like violin or viola! My name is Alba, I'm Argentinian and I'd like to share all the love I have for these instruments and my joy for teaching. I've completed my studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag where I specialized in Baroque Music. In Argentina, I played in several orchestras and tango and folk music ensembles. Every student is different and that is why I adapt to their needs and musical preference and goals. I truly believe that you can learn at any age, if that is your desire. I would like to accompany you in that process!

For singers/songwriters: How to record your own songs from beginning to end, how set up a vocal chain, using professional microphones, effects on your voice, edit and mix, how to create simple vocal arrangements, etc For Piano: Beginner Lessons, Learn songs by ear, to play with metronome, recording techniques, etc Recording: Learn how to use a daw, mixer, speakers, audio interface, and all related hardware/software Lessons are given in the Rotterdam Area, with optional home visits for an extra fee.

I teach basic piano and music theory. If you want to learn how to play piano or get familiar with music analysis/solfege, I will be glad to help you out. Currently, I'm in my second year at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. As well, I have studied music production in college before.

These individual music composition lessons are tailored to fit your needs and interests related to music composition. During the lessons, we will work together to identify, develop, and refine your voice as a creative musician. Possible topics include notation, melody, harmony, rhythm, score study, analysis, Sibelius, Dorico, Logic.

Hello! My name is Alberto. I am a clarinet player who graduated from Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam). I am specialized in Classical Music, though I can teach also Jazz in a beginner to intermediate level. I have always had a deep interest in chamber music, teaching and improvisation and I would like to be able to show you this passion. The focus of my lessons is to show the possibilities of music, adapting to the student needs, going from clarinet technique to theory, other styles of music such us Klezmer, Jazz, basic piano, as well as learning how to play the bass clarinet. But the most important thing is to find a path for each student, so do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and feel free to share your thoughts, I can adapt to your personal goals!

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

The older I get, the more I love. Especially during these times of immense ugliness and hate, wars and conflict, music- that's always been all about love - is the home I keep returning to. To me, mentoring someone is all about sharing the love for the instrument, thirst about the material, desire to explore new musical paths and respect for whatever happens whilst playing. Not only we will explore technical paths and understand rhythm under a totally different light but also communicate through improvisation and modal principles. My goal is for you to love the instrument a bit more, music a bit more and as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry said "Perhaps love is the process of my leading you gently back to yourself". My approach is rooted in a highly practical vision of learning, based on the educational model in which I was trained during my master’s degrees in Conducting (Antwerp) and Historical Cello (Brussels). We’ll use your prefered music and instruments (or voice!) to make the learning process relevant and enjoyable. Whether you're a curious beginner, a performer looking to refine your knowledge, or a composer aiming for a deeper dive, this course is for everyone.

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.
