About me: Since obtaining my PGCE from Oxford University, I have spend the last three years working in an Outstanding rated secondary school in Oxfordshire as an English teacher. I have taught every year group (7-13) and carried responsibility for ensuring top grades in examination classes. A graduate of English Literature, I am currently undertaking a CELTA qualification to further hone my language skills!

My name is Arsène, I am a 21 year-old French student living in Oxford. As French is my native language, I can easily give French classes, individually or in group, no matter how old you are.
My experience : During 2017/2018, I worked for an association, where I usually took care of adults or children groups, that had various issues (addiction, waiting for a visa, disability...) helping them to learn French, integrate into the society or just make friends and have fun. I also took care of three children last year in addition of my studies. During summer 2017, I worked for a fashion group called Sandro as a seller. That helped me being confident talking and helping people I don’t know.

Identifying the reason for learning the language is the first step to creating a lesson plan
If for academic/exam purposes, focusing heavily on the exam board specifications as a guide
If for personal purposes, starting with test to determine current level

Action plan:

1. Provide presentations and lesson material
2. Knowledge checks to ensure you are following and comprehending
3. Homework
4. Recommendation of platforms and shows for independent and fun learning
