About Me
Rose Voutsas is an artist whose work focuses on legacy, cultural memory and imaginative storytelling through visual art. Inspired by Balkan history, dissident art movements and surreal creative traditions, she combines strong technical foundations with reflective artistic exploration. Outside of teaching and creating art, Rose loves walking her dog, exploring architecture, and sketching from everyday life, often in cafés or while visiting galleries. She enjoys researching history, folklore and cultural traditions, which frequently inspire both her artwork and the teaching she does. Rose especially loves quiet creative rituals like drawing in the morning, drinking tea, and observing landscapes and buildings for inspiration.
