You will get the benefit of a vast bank of techniques, methods and learning materials that I have developed and accumulated over the past year will be used in class to pique and maintain your interest. And since I was once a language student too, I would be able to share my personal tips and tricks with you to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself - be it being able to wow your friends and family by reciting a poem in the language of Dostoyevski, or impressing your future collegues with the thorough knowledge of Russian current affairs in their mother tongue!

I am an experienced and knowledgeable English Literature teacher with an Oxford University Doctorate. My approach is friendly and supportive, stressing the importance of understanding the text and practising writing essays that refer to the correct topics and are well structured.

I have experience teaching GCSE English Literature and Language with Edexcel, AQA, OCR exam boards. In these sessions, I can cover all exam skills through scaffolded and differentiated resources, past papers and model answers. At A-level, I have taught AQA English Literature A, Literature B and Language A specs. In sessions, I can provide model essays, past papers and literary theories to develop academic writing and analysis. Marking and feedback can be provided. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual, ensuring regular assessment and high-quality feedback to push each student. I have high expectations for all of my students and strive to create a safe, creative and engaging environment.

When it come to teaching primary school Maths and English, I believe in the power of engaging activities, visual aids, and real-world examples to help young learners grasp concepts effectively. I want to teach children by making the lessons fun and engaging as well as building confidence and self esteem in each child.

I have a fun, caring and enthusiastic nature, where I believe that learning should not just be restricted just to what is in text books I am passionate about teaching and have 11 years of experience working with children from EYFS to Year 6 supporting with phonics and SAT's interventions as well as working with children with special needs.

I am patient, nurturing and energetic and will ensure all lessons are engaging and very interactive. I will provide extra support to those children who need more time to process and learn and will provide the relevant learning tools too.
