Now, I am on my third master degree of voice in Graz. I worked in Music school for two years and I had great results in my work with a students. Also, I love to work with an adults. I am a pianist with extensive experience in the art of piano playing and teaching. Therefore, I can not only teach piano playing, but also do so in a friendly and motivating atmosphere. Working with students of all ages and levels, I know how to make lessons interesting, varied and beneficial. In my lessons, you will not only acquire skills in piano music, but also basic knowledge of music theory, which will make working with musical material much easier. Thanks to my many years of experience as a pianist in hotels in various countries, I can not only teach you how to play classical pieces, but also help you play your favorite hits by ear, read sight quickly and accurately, and improvise.

I offer customized lessons in voice technique, piano, solfège (ear training), and music theory, along with simple yet effective techniques for accompanying yourself on piano while singing. The lesson lasts 45 minutes and is completely customized to your needs and preferences. We can work on your technique and musicality or just learn how to play your favorite songs so you can show off to your friends ;) I think I am a really patient person and I believe that with hard work, anyone can achieve anything! The lessons are optimized for everyone: from beginners to experienced piano players.

Hi! I am a professional pianist with over 15 years of formal education. I have won numerous prizes on competitions all over Europe, and had many live performances. Currently, I am studying as a post-graduate student at the Kunst University in Graz, with a Master's degree in piano and piano pedagogy from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. I offer piano lessons at your home, aimed for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. We can work on any genre of music as long as we can find a suitable music score for it. In these lessons you will learn how to study and play the piano. You can ask for specific pieces that you really want to play, or we can start togheter a training with exercises and pieces. I also teach sightreading (how to read a score!), how to play with singers or other musicians and solfeggio. Regarding composition, I can give you the first base and teach how to approach, how to analyse a piece, and how to train the ear, and a bit of harmony and contrapoint.

• I try to be creative in my lessons and it is important to me that the students are not physically or mentally tense when playing. I also teach basic theoretical knowledge that makes playing the piano easier and if the students have an inclination or interest in improvisation, I develop these skills as well. • Since I have had many different students with many different needs, I can adapt the lessons to your individual needs.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

From reading note letters, implementing a proper form to sight reading a piece, we are gonna learn in our own pace. If you're just learning music now and it feels like there's a lot to understand, don't worry we're gonna start from the basics. I will help you understand music and its elements. With your dedication and my guidance, I'm positive that we will get a good result!

These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation. If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed). *My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.
