Trained actor and experienced media trainer - background in political speech writing
I am a trained actor from one of the UK's best drama schools and I have a background in publicity and politics: I worked as a publicist and media trainer for politicians for 7 years (my previous employers include Martin Schulz, president of the European Parliament, the Austrian Liberal Party NEOS and Sadiq Khan, mayor of London), accompanying them to their TV and media appearances and preparing them for interviews and TV debates. As an actor, my credits include several feature films and a number of theatre plays, including "Richard II", "A Winter's Tale" and "Waiting for Godot". I am bilingual in English and German and am happy to work in both languages. Whether you are preparing for a presentation, a media appearance, interview or you just want to improve your confidence in speaking in front of a group, I will make sure to tailor our sessions to your individual goals and needs. Public speaking means sharing our ideas with others, which is an incredibly personal and vulnerable place to be in and I can offer you techniques to combat stage fright and enable you to be your best, authentic and confident self. You can listen to my voice and commercial reels here: https://app.spotlight.com/6516-1201-2570

The art of screen acting and auditioning
NL Hello, I am Kyra Verreydt. I have both an artistic and an educational master in drama at LUCA School of Arts. In addition, I sometimes give acting coaching as a teacher at the drama department of LUCA School of Arts. I offer two things: 1) Basic camera acting course (Beginner/Intermediate): How do I behave in front of the camera? What is the difference between acting in a film and acting on stage? What should I look out for? What are the secrets of castings? And what should I know? Using a fictional casting, we will investigate together how you come across on screen. We will analyze a scene and work with different camera techniques such as applying different image formats, listening, reacting and thinking on screen so that you can confidently take the (next) step in the world of camera acting. 2) Game coaching in preparation for an audition or shooting day (Beginner/intermediate/advanced): I coach you in preparing a monologue/scene for an audition or a shooting day. I am happy to act as a guide for your first steps in the world of (on-camera) acting and auditioning. SCARY Hello, I am Kyra Verreydt. Singing lessons in English for all levels by professional voice teacher, vocal coach and singer
I'm a former New York City voice teacher/coach, professional singer and an award winning composer who has relocated to Berlin. I've taught with the most reputable children's musical theatre organizations in NYC with students of all ages as well as private students and I've worked with Broadway stars such as Laura Osnes, Karen Mason and Ron Bohmer, who have also recorded my music, and I'm excited to bring my 20 yrs of teaching experience to Berlin! I teach songwriting as well, if that is something you're interested in. I'm a classically trained singer who performed with the San Francisco Opera and other companies both in opera and musical theatre for many years. Though I specialize now in musical theatre, I am happy and comfortable teaching you to sing in whatever style you prefer. The basics are the same! In our lessons, we will work on breath, correct vowel pronunciation, placement, diction, etc... as well as getting rid of the tension and habits that keep us from singing freely and beautifully. We will also work on the musical and dramatic aspects of the material we choose together, so that you will feel comfortable at an audition or a performance. And I keep lessons fun so that you can both learn and progress each week AND enjoy yourself! Whether just starting out or a professional who needs help working on an audition or role, I can help you reach your goals!

CINEMA, ACTING, IMPROVISATION WORKSHOPS - - -
These sessions allow the development of skills and knowledge of the trade, with the game facing the camera, familiarization with the audiovisual environment and the camera tool, in the art of acting. Your inventiveness and your uniqueness being at the center of your training, it is a question of dwelling on the objective criteria, such as the voice, the use of the body, the relationship with the partner, the capacity to occupy the space. But it is also the singularity and the commitment that are decisive. The objective of this training is to be able to: - Analyze and dissect a text - Create, develop and embody a character - Understand the artistic and technical writings of a film or a play - Create, cultivate and develop one's artistic identity and singularity (...) Through simulations and role-playing, the association between theory and practice makes it possible to achieve its objectives. PLACES : - Locations: Geneva - Lausanne - Friborg - Neuchâtel - Montreux - Basel - Sion - Sierre - Morges - Bienne. But currently and until further notice, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions, for which you have asked me, also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). Indeed, they have the advantage of face-to-face sessions (ex: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time) with additional advantages (ex: the entire session transcribed in writing on the chat). That is why, at your request, I continue to offer this option. - As other people do regularly, you can also please your loved ones by offering gift vouchers available all year round. THE TRAINER From a Grande Ecole post-preparatory class in France & Ivy League University in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 14 years in the field, in international establishments, intervening in forums and conferences. CONTACT / PROGRAM A la carte program: evaluated and adapted to each need.

And we love to focus on mindfulness and body awareness! You should feel as good as you sound, my friend! We're here to help you learn and master whatever genre you love most, whether it's classical opera, pop, jazz, or rock.
