I believe that improving your instruments requires steady practice and patience at first. Even five minutes a day is better than not touching the instruments at all. If you make it a daily habit for a week, two weeks, a month, six months, or a year, your level will definitely improve, you will be able to play the songs you want to play, and you will experience the joy of playing. Even if you cannot touch an instrument, singing loud out or in your head can still practice, and you will realize how important it is for improving your musical ability and expressing yourself. I am a baroque violinist, graduated with a master of early music department at Koninglijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. I play the modern violin, viola, medieval fiddle and keyboard instruments as well. Happy to share the music with you with all of my experiences of my music life and what I learned. Started playing the piano at 3 years old and the violin at 7 years old, then went to the music high school and Tokyo university of the Art in Japan. Ai is a wonderful teacher. She's great at explaining all sorts of grammatical concepts and she's sweet with a good sense of humour to boot. I definitely recommend everyone who's interested in learning how to speak, write or read Japanese to consider taking lessons from her. If you're motivated and do the assigned homework, you'll make a lot of progress in a very small period of time. It's only been two weeks, but I already feel like my Japanese has improved considerably!
