Santiago - Helsinki24€
Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Santiago and I am offering individual and personalized virtual Spanish classes to improve both your oral and written communication. The main focus of my classes is focused on developing fluent and structured communication of the Spanish language either to prepare international exams, to be able to communicate properly in the professional field or to reinforce and maintain prior knowledge of this language. I am a native Spanish speaker from Uruguay, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the USA, and studied communication arts for a year and a half in Thailand. While studying communication arts, I had several public speaking classes, learning techniques of how to speak better using not only our words but also our body to help us speak more naturally, calmly, and without getting nervous if we get stuck or forget what we wanted to say. During my career in the US, I was constantly writing essays for my classes, in addition to having to present projects in front of my teachers and classmates. At the same time, I was working at university and after graduation I worked for a year, mainly having long phone conversations with people from all over the country. These past years I gained invaluable experience in living abroad and communicating using my second language. Now, I help others who are looking to do the same. I help people of all around the world with their Spanish so they can meet their goals. It could be studying abroad, going to live in a Spanish-speaking country, improving your communication in the professional field, or keep practicing so as not to lose your previously acquired level. If what you are looking for is to improve your knowledge of the Spanish language, I will help you. My methodology is simple. Each person is different and I adapt the content of my classes to the needs and interests of my students. We all learn in different ways and at different times. That's why I design my classes individually, focusing more on conversation, speaking, listening, while also helping with reading and grammar. This way we can keep classes entertaining, covering all angles of Spanish learning, and learning this language as a whole.

Trusted teacher: Leon graduated from the University of Cambridge, where he read Academic Music. He studied violin and viola with Lutsia Ibragimova, David Dolan and Alexander Tumanov at the Yehudi Menuhin School, a specialist music school in the UK, and was concertmaster of the Cambridge University Orchestra. Recent projects include Tippett's 'A Child of Our Time' with Martyn Brabbins and Poulenc's 'Sinfonietta' with Jac van Steen. He now lives and works as a freelance violinist and music teacher in Helsinki. Leon is passionate about teaching violin/viola/music theory and is committed to a lifelong study of music and music pedagogy so he can share his knowledge with others. In his final years at school, he taught violin to beginners at a local primary school and, after graduating, more experienced 8-13-year-olds at a summer music camp. He has had two years' private teaching experience from a base in Cambridge. In addition, Leon has gained invaluable teaching experience from extensive informal tuition of advanced learners (conservatoire degree-level). The format of your lesson with Leon is not set in stone! He believes that a flexible teaching style is essential to cater effectively for different abilities: reaching one's own milestones always takes priority. If you are a beginner looking to play some of your favourite songs, for instance, the most effective strategy may be to learn the 'tricks' of the trade, or essentials only. However, if you are looking to develop a solid basis for more virtuosic playing, Leon's 'Russian-style' violin school background is ideally suited for rigorous instrumental training. For non-beginners, Leon is also able to offer advanced teaching: this includes help with musical interpretation, the pinpointing of technical issues and anything in-between. If in doubt, please enquire. Leon teaches music theory online. He is happy teach up to degree level in this field. Please drop him a message if you are interested!

Acoustic & Electric guitar lessons in Turku, Finland 🎸 (Turku)

Excellent guitar teacher in Turku! I am a fairly beginner guitar player and with Thomas the lessons and exercises have always been at a suitable level, making practicing guitar feel fun and rewarding. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here, the teaching is tailored to your skill level and personal wishes. Thomas is not only a great guitar player but a well-versed musician as well, making his teaching not just about playing the guitar but playing MUSIC.

Beltran

First lesson with Beltrán was very useful. For me was motivating that he was able to concentrate on the things I had wished help with even if I have many other things to correct. He behaved friendly and down to earth and I was very impressed he even had learned a few words of Finnish during his studies in Sibelius Academy. I had fun plus just the right amount of homeworks until next lesson!

Lila

Lila knows how to asses which level my child is at accurately, and help her from very silence at the beginning to be very devoted to the doalogue at the end. In addition, she uses the facility around as her teaching resource so that my child feels unbored through two hours' lesson. She is creative and meticulously considerate in her teaching.
