My aim is to create a relaxed and pleasant learning experience tailored to individual pupil's needs. By way of background information, I have many years experience in primary education, successively as a classroom teacher, Assistant Head/ Acting Headteacher and also, as a Senior University Lecturer working in Teacher Education, before taking early retirement because of family illness. I am fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) and also hold a current Protection of Vulneralble Groups (PVG) certificate Qualifications: BA Dip CE MEd (Edin) FHEA I can offer one - to one teaching in my own home in Lanark provided the student is accompanied by a responsible adult. Alternatively I am happy to travel up to 15 miles to conduct sessions in the students own home. I also offer online lessons via webcam.
