Personalized drum lessons for all levels with a creative, step-by-step approach
Experience drum lessons tailored to your style and goals! I've been a musician since childhood and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne. Actively involved in various music projects, I’m passionate about teaching drums to students of all levels. My teaching approach is all about customization: I design exercises and learning paths that adapt to your unique goals, needs, and musical interests. Whether you're looking to build a solid foundation, refine your technique, or dive into new musical styles, I'll guide you step by step, helping you progress at your own pace while enjoying the journey.

Chromatic accordion lessons for all ages and levels
Are you fascinated by the accordion and would like to learn it yourself? I give chromatic accordion lessons in Lausanne, for all ages and all levels. I studied classical music and jazz and I am open to all styles of music. I will also gladly teach you to improvise, to accompany and to compose. I have a long teaching experience thanks to private students and my activity at the music school in Olten. Write to me without obligation for a lesson. I teach in French, German and English. I look forward to accompanying you on your musical journey!

Piano lessons at home (Lausanne), for all ages, all levels
I offer personalized lessons for children and adults. I'm open to your suggestions for pieces, your preferences, and the styles that suit you best! (Classical music, jazz, film music, pop, rock, etc.) Convinced of the importance of theoretical foundations (particularly music theory and harmony), it is possible to integrate them into the courses so that students develop with solid foundations. This then allows us to understand music in its entirety, around a rich and varied repertoire. Having also studied improvised music at the Paris Conservatory and being a musician in several groups, I would be happy to be able to share my experience around musical creation as well as in the development of improvisation. Anyone interested in the instrument and who would like to develop their keyboard skills is welcome, regardless of age. Looking forward to seeing you again and see you soon! A little more about my background: A graduate of the Paris Conservatory, I had the chance to work alongside many exciting pianists and teachers, such as Denis Pascal, Pascal Amoyel, Rena Shereshevskaya and in improvised music Paul Lay and Emil Spányi, who were able, throughout my career, to bring me into musical research and maintain this taste for the instrument. Being attracted by musical creation, as well as composition, I was also able to study harmony, arrangement, music theory and composition at the Rueil-Malmaison conservatory in the Paris region. Alongside my musical projects as a classical and jazz pianist and musical composition, I devote myself to my passion for educational transmission.

Battery all levels / all styles by a student of HEMU
"Without music, life would be a mistake" - Nietzsche If even the philosophers think it is that the music indeed has a universal power which can touch any human being on this earth ... There is something for everyone, for all ages ... there is everywhere! Music is what makes me live and passionate more than anything in the world, that's why I like to listen, play and also teach. The courses that I propose are adapted according to the desires of the student, the music must be a moment of pleasure and sharing. Whether you are beginner or advanced, we will find a formula that will suit you by combining technical, coordination and sound of the instrument. The ultimate goal is to have fun on the drums while being attentive to the evolution of a piece and the communication with the musicians who will accompany you. Styles: rock, pop, funk, groove, afro-cuban, reggae, blues, jazz ... So, if you think you are driven by the crazy desire to discover (or re-discover with me) this beautiful instrument, meet us! ** I teach in my local (equipped with 2 batteries) in Lausanne at FLON ** IN THE PROGRAM : - Technical - Coordination (hands / feet) - Sound development, typing on the instrument - Play on music - rhythmic reading - Improvisation solo and in a piece GENRES: - Electric - Folk - Rock - Jazz - Blues - Funk - Pop

Master student at HEMU gives Drums and / or Rhythm lessons
Musician from a young age, I am currently finishing the MASTER in JAZZ DRUMS from the HEMU in Lausanne. I also graduated from the Nantes CRR in the same discipline, as well as from the AGOSTINI school in Angers. I have a great experience of the scene in a field ranging from Current Music to Jazz via Street Arts and Live Performance. I give Drums and Rhythm lessons (also for non drummers) at home or in my room located in the Flon district of Lausanne. My courses are aimed at all levels, and take as a starting point where you are now, while respecting your motivations. For the children, my idea is to provide them with a consistent and solid base that will allow them to follow the path they want in complete freedom thereafter. They include: - Posture, breathing, functioning of the body - Instrument settings and sound work - Technical warm-up (wrists and feet) - Work on different styles (Rock, Funk, Soul, Latin, Jazz, HipHop ...) - Solfeggio and rhythmic reading (melodic and harmonic possible according to expectations) - Listening, History and General Culture all styles combined - Improvisation I try to make the lessons fun and my main goal is to share a good time and have fun, see you soon!

Drum lessons in Lausanne in private or semi-private
The drums are learned through exercises, but also music from your favorite artists. For the youngest, the initiation phase courses focus on the fun aspect and games. There is no age to start playing an instrument; children, adolescents, adults or seniors, our courses are open to everyone. Development of key skills: Independence Coordination Groove Breaks, fills, outings rudiment This study is done through pieces of music of various styles, chosen according to the tastes of the student (s), to match their desires and desires. We will also learn the maintenance and structure of his instrument, as well as reading scores. Regarding this last point, it is important to specify that with Apolline, music theory is integrated into the instrument lesson, sparingly and in a manner consistent with the subject studied by the child. Thus, theory sticks to practice and becomes digestible and interesting.

Professional jazz musician teaching jazz, blues, funk, R&B, pop, rock, latin and classical piano.
I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.

Improvisation for beginners and intermediates (any instrument)
Would you classify improvisation as composition or performance? Well actually it is both! When you improvise you are composing music on the spot, performing what you have made up at the same time as you have composed it. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. The key to success is understanding chords. Once you know how chords are formed and know what notes make up a few chords you will be well on your way towards being able to improvise. We will, therefore, start by ensuring a firm knowledge of certain chords. After this we will progress to improvising a simple melody over the top of these chords. The next stage is to start using notes that are not in the chord. The process is then open ended with emphasis on developing the melody. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.
