My first lesson with Carlos was great! Not only is he a skilled clarinetist, but he has a very hands-on approach to teaching that is especially helpful for those just beginning or starting up again after a long break. Though I remembered very little of the clarinet before our first lesson, he immediately made me comfortable getting back into the swing of things and gave me many helpful pointers to regain my bearings. My daughter had a few knowledge gaps for her last year of solfege at the academie (i.e. advanced solfege) so we seek help from Ana Maria. In one intensive session she was able to explain all that was needed and get my daughter back in track. On top of this, Ana Maria was very fast to respond to the request and to propose a date for the session, so I absolutely recommend her.
