My name is Noreen, I'm a second-year bachelor's student at HEC Lausanne, and I tutor elementary school students. I'm passionate about sharing the many learning techniques I've developed, and I would be delighted to use them to help students progress with confidence. Patient and calm by nature, I don't hesitate to rephrase or re-explain concepts several times so that each student can understand at their own pace. Lessons can be conducted in either French or English, depending on your needs. I look forward to meeting you and discussing your goals!

I am a doctorate student with a master degree in English literature, including a specialization in new American studies from the university of Lausanne. I am experienced in helping with homework (all levels and subjects) and language class (French and English) from beginners to advanced. I offer personalized classes adapted to your needs in order to help you gain confidence, knowledge and to reach your different goals. My studies allowed me to be in constant contact with non francophone people. I learned to adapt to each person's level and I am familiar with the difficulties that the French language presents for foreigners. In return, my own studies in English familiarized me with the difficulties of the English language. I also offer help with the the redaction of any kind of written work (thesis, seminars, cv, letters) and to improve your oral skills (conversation to prepare oral exams, interviews, or upgrading).

I offer English lessons for children and teenagers, tailored to their age, level and goals. My lessons are based on exercises, games, interactive activities, and above all, lots of practice. My goal is to make learning English enjoyable and to allow each student to progress at their own pace. Who am I? Hello, my name is Karina and I am 16 years old. I am a patient, organized, and attentive person. I enjoy helping others understand things and explaining concepts in a simple and clear way. I speak fluent French, English, Ukrainian and Russian, which also allows me to support students who are learning French or who need help to better understand instructions. I offer homework help for children and teenagers, mainly for primary school and the beginning of secondary school. During the sessions, we can review concepts that are causing problems, do exercises together, prepare for tests or simply organize schoolwork. I do not do the homework for the student: I accompany him so that he understands, finds the method and can gradually work more independently. I adapt to the level and pace of each student and I make sure to create a calm and caring atmosphere, in which they can ask all their questions without fear of making a mistake. I want to become a teacher later on, so I take each session seriously. I tailor my support to each student's needs to make schoolwork clearer and more motivating. Hope to meet you !

** CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Courses given online! ** I am a young doctor recently graduated in Human Medicine at the University of Geneva. Being calm and patient in nature, I try to build trust with my students to create a more relaxed environment, conducive to exchange and therefore learning courses. For me, the understanding of a course is mainly through a structured, imaged and especially personalized learning of different subjects to enable the student to sustainably integrate the key concepts that are useful to him. This type of contact is very important to me and is the basis of my interest and desire to teach. I believe that academic success is, of course, through learning but above all through an educational approach that takes into account several psychosocial factors that can influence children's success through an impact on their self-esteem. In my sessions, I attach great importance to identifying these factors and valuing the efforts of my students so that they become aware of their abilities and gain self-confidence. This course is for people of all ages and backgrounds who need tutoring or who wish to deepen their knowledge of biology / medicine. Students and future medical students accepted for regular courses and exam preparation! Do not hesitate to contact me, I will answer you with pleasure!

I hold a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Geneva and I currently work in a start-up. Throughout my studies, I regularly tutored students, both in individual lessons and in small group classes, within the context of academic support associations. Being passionate about science, it is a pleasure for me to be able to pass on my knowledge to my students alongside my professional projects. Regarding my course: First and foremost, during the first meeting with my student, I try to assess their level, to see their strengths and the elements they could improve regarding their work method! Secondly, I propose a work plan that I adapt to their level and learning style. Every student is different: my role is to adapt my teaching to their needs. In general, I base my work on the lessons and exercises that the student receives as part of their school curriculum, but if necessary I give additional homework in order to consolidate the basics seen in class and to allow them to practice more.
