About Me

Up to and including the University (Ghent) with a master's degree in Geography and a postgraduate in Spatial Planning and Development, followed by Criminology and Criminalistics and other further training courses in my career as a police officer.

Experience / Qualifications

After my studies, I taught Geography for 4 years, followed by a 36-year career with the Judicial Police and later the Federal Police with 8 years of experience as a liaison officer for the Belgian police services in Paris.
Finally, together with my wife, I was also a very successful businessman as (co-) manager of a beautiful B&B with 5 rooms in Brussels after my career with the police.
