I've been teaching English and math for almost 7 years now and I just love it! Well that means you'll love it too! I believe that to be a good teacher one must be passionate about teaching and working with different people.

It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or an advanced speaker and just want to have a conversation with me, we can make a plan together and work on your goals!

About Me
Would you like to improve your English skills? Don't you feel comfortable enough or you need English at work? Do your kids need tutoring? In any case just drop me a message!
Education
I've studied Education at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. During my studies I managed to pass CAE exam (C1) and take a TEFL course later on. I was living in English-speaking countries like the UK, New Zealand and Australia for quite a while.
Experience / Qualifications
I've got a lot of experience in teaching, ranging from young kids to adults. I was lucky enough to teach English in Vietnam and Thailand and I loved it! I've been tutoring and teaching private lessons since 2014, both in person and online.

This is what a lesson with me looks like.
As a student at the TU, I tutor mathematics (all levels and all profiles — Mathematics A, B, C, and D) and physics to students in VMBO, HAVO, and VWO. Whether you are stuck on a single topic, want to improve your grade, or are preparing for your final exams: I tailor the lesson to your needs.
A typical one-hour lesson looks like this. We start with a short check-in: what did you cover in class this week, what did you struggle with, and what homework or test is coming up? Based on that, we determine the focus of the lesson together. Then we get to the material. I explain the topic again, but in a way that resonates with you — with examples, diagrams, or by going through a problem step by step together. I think it's important that you know not only the answer but also why something works. That makes a huge difference during tests, because you can then apply the material to problems you haven't seen before.
Next, you will practice on your own while I observe. If you get stuck, I will provide guidance; if things are going well, I will move on to a more difficult variation. We will conclude with a brief summary of what we have done and agree on what you will work on independently until the next lesson.
Between classes, you can always send me a message with a question or a photo of a problem you can't figure out — that's part of it.
What I can help you with

Explanation of difficult topics: algebra, functions, trigonometry, differentiation and integration, probability, vectors, mechanics, electricity, and everything related.
Homework assistance and test preparation
Exam training Mathematics A/B/C/D and Physics (HAVO and VWO)
Catch up if you have just moved to a higher level or chosen a new profile

Approach
Mathematics and physics are subjects that you only truly understand once you have worked with them yourself. My role is to clarify the material, give you the confidence to persevere, and teach you how to tackle a problem independently — so that you are no longer dependent on me during the test.
Lessons can take place at home or online via video call, whichever suits you best.
