Guitar, Mandolin, Music Theory lessons by enthusiastic tutor and performer
Enthusiastic guitar tutor and performer.
I started playing classical guitar at the age of 6, and my formal musical education began at the age of 9 when I started attending a music school in Croatia. After 6 years of primary school, I continued studying classical guitar at a secondary music school in Varazdin, Croatia. During that period I received training in classical harmony, Counterpoint (polyphony), Solfeggio, Music history and gained plenty of experience in orchestral playing and choral singing. I decided to continue my musical education in Manchester where I was studying for an undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music and currently I am studying at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. As a performing guitarist, I have successfully participated and won prizes in a number of international competitions in the UK, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. Although my studies are primarily related to classical music, I am comfortable playing and performing music in a range of other styles and genres. I am also experienced with mandolin and Croatian folk instrument called tamburitza.

very passionate and helpful teacher. I am excited to continue with my guitar lessons
This was my 7 year old son’s very first lesson. Antonio adjusted the class to his level, and my son left wanting more!
Antonio is an excellent teacher and experienced with guitar teaching. I feel quite relaxing during the course.
Highly skilled, friendly and dedicated. Only two lessons and I already improved so much. Very good teacher.
I began to learn the basics of classical through COVID and Antonio has been so very helpful and supportive in refining my technique and removing many of the bad habits I have picked up.
The lessons are highly enjoyable and I recommend him to any aspiring or seasoned guitar player.

Let's play together! - Cello lessons for all levels and ages
My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students.
I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place!
If you are in The Hague area and you want to learn the cello or improve your playing, you are welcome to do lessons with me!
FIRST LESSON:
The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste.
TECHNIQUE:
Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge.
In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly!
Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun!

Music/Jazz Theory, Song Writing and Composition Lessons
I'm a professionally educated bass guitarist and teacher from Hungary, currently residing in The Hague with a freshly earned Master's degree from the Royal Conservatoire. As an active musician since 2014, I've played in a variety of musical settings, from solo performances to big bands and orchestras. My musical pursuits span across jazz (free and fusion), metal, repetitive minimal music, and contemporary classical genres.
Beyond performing, I'm deeply passionate about teaching. I began sharing my knowledge during my bachelor's studies and have continued ever since. In addition to bass, I've extensively studied composition and theory. If you're a fellow musician seeking a bit of a theory boost, I'd be delighted to assist you. My perspective on music is straightforward: it's a game, which is why we "play" it.
Let's explore the world of music together!

A new approach to Mandolin and Ukulele - Accompanying, improvising and understanding music in a practical way.
Big music from small instruments.
Mandolin and Ukulele have been quite a hype in the past 10 years. Nevertheless, these two small ones are not often used up to their full potential. Have you ever thought you could be a virtuoso in one of these instruments? That you could actually play in any style and be a great soloist as much as a violinist or a guitarist?
Aside from learning the basics, I will show alternative tunings that will provide you with a better sound, a bigger range to play in, more versatility and comfort for the hand, awesome voicings and a clear visual map of chords, modes, and harmonic movements. I will help you to rethink the mandolin and the ukulele as truly complete and professional instruments and show you how to play on them in a broad variety of styles such as folk, blues, pop, rock, and jazz.
[According to the style we will also be working with loops and effects.]
This class is meant to guide you from the very first steps on your instrument up to a professional level. From beginners to advanced musicians who want to challenge themselves and enlarge their perspective on the instrument.
The lessons will be custom made for each student.
I will work to adapt to your learning rhythm while keeping you challenged at the same time. You will receive regular feedback, advice, and guidance and materials
