I have been teaching Chinese (Mandarin) to several English, French, and German native speakers in the past 5 years, of all levels. Hello! My name is Zhilin. I am a Chinese who have lived outside home for five years. I am passionate about teaching Chinese and sharing Chinese cultures (and food) with friends from all over the world!

During my study in Hong Kong, I tutored several MBA students who were ambitious in developing a career in China. I polished their speaking, listening, writing and reading. I tailor made my lessons according to their levels, learning experiences, needs and interests.

I was also a family tutor for an German-American secondary student with her writing and Chinese expressions. I blended article reading, dictate, video watching into my teaching and my student found it a lot of fun!

The general structure lesson revolves around review from previous sessions, assigned exercises and the new chapter of textbook.
