As a historian from the Pontifical Xavierian University, I am familiar with the history of Colombia, the Americas, Europe, Spain, Asia, and the Islamic world. I am passionate about teaching and history as a tool for critical thinking. I have gained experience in teaching, research, and designing creative pedagogical strategies tailored to student needs, allowing me to tailor lessons.
Likewise, I can perform the duties of an editor/reviewer for university papers, strengthening the skills of a social science researcher and writer. I am also willing to assist in the research process if needed.

History is crucial for understanding the world we live in, as well as the historical events and processes that most influence us today.

In history courses, you'll learn about various periods in history, but we'll also specialize in practical cases that help us understand periods in the past.

The content of Universal History ranges from Prehistory (human evolution, Paleolithic, Neolithic) to the First Civilizations (Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome), passing through the Middle Ages (feudalism, Crusades), the Modern Age (Renaissance, Enlightenment, French Revolution) and the Contemporary Age (Industrial and Liberal Revolutions, World Wars, Cold War), with special attention to the emergence of writing and the classical periodization of history.
The Contemporary History course covers the revolutionary cycle that begins with the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution at the end of the 18th century. Key topics range from the crisis of the Ancien Régime, the spread of liberalism and nationalism, to the two World Wars, the Cold War, and globalization, also addressing social changes such as the labor movement, the Second Industrial Revolution, and Imperialism.

I offer individualized and innovative teaching methods. I help students prepare for exams and progress without feeling overwhelmed. I assign additional homework and provide regular progress reports.
