Hi parents! My name is Emma, I am a 19-year-old student at King's College London, and I am offering dedicated and effective homework support for your child. As an accomplished student in high school who achieved top grades in various subjects, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and study techniques to help children achieve their academic goals.
One of the tutoring services which I offer is providing clear explanations and practice problems to help students grasp various concepts in mathematics. Furthermore, whether it is grammar, reading comprehension, or essay writing, I offer personalised support to improve language skills and boost confidence in English. Additionally, I am offering to help students develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the material in my favourite area, the humanities.

Hi! My name is Emma, I am originally from Finland but I lived in the Netherlands for approximately 6 years before I moved to London for university. I am a very hard worker and am always committed to achieving the best results possible, whether that is for myself or for others. Having obtained the International Option Baccalaureate (OIB) in Scientific Mathematics specialty with honors this year, I am bilingual in French and English, and I have a level of Terminale S in maths. I know how to give lessons to little ones by making the lessons fun, but I also understand the difficulty posed by the French baccalaureate, being myself there, and can therefore transmit my learning experience to high school students.

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.

I specialise in analysis, algebra, and physics (mechanics, thermodynamics and electromagnetic) and will happily help you with everything you need !

TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.

As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.

Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 10 students for the entrance exam.

Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most. After this, I will help the student complete some practice excercises, and then assign extra practice to complete on their own time. These exercises will then be reviewed in the following class to ensure the topics have been understood.
