With a passion for music I've been performing and teaching music for over 12 years. Originally from Vancouver, I've lived, studied and performed in places like South India, New York, Copenhagen, Paris, Berlin, Montréal, and South Africa.

People often describe me as a good listener, conscientious, kind, focused, someone who is always looking to learn. My lessons are specifically tailored for the student in question. Although I have many teaching tools, I like to work with the student and their particular goals to create lesson/learning strategies. This makes me very flexible in terms of the specifics of what we work on together.

Hi! My name Matt. I’m a passionate teacher of music. I teach piano, composition, music theory, ear-training and rhythmic studies. I’ve been teaching for 15-years in various musical styles and I’m offering specifically-tailored lessons to students of all ages, background, experience level. I teach in both english and danish. I'm generous with my knowledge and time :)

Outside of formal education across Europe and Canada (Jazz masters in Performance, Post-Masters in Composition, Royal Conservatory of Music, grade 10) I’ve lived in places like South India (studying Carnatic classical music) and Bali (studying Gamelan music). Therefor my outlook and musical philosophy is very broad, international and holistic.

From the origin of Chicago to most complex jazz Blues, 15 units of progressive difficulty suitable for any guitar from basic level. Included transcription of J. Hendrix, S. R. Vaughan, A. King, E. Clapton.

Funky Guitar by Ross Bolton ed. Musician Institute
Thecniques in this class, divided in 10 units, are relate to traditional old “school”funk guitar playing and the groove guitar. Developing funk skills will make the student a better overall rhythm guitarist and generally it will improve the time feel. Jazz Guitar
Thecniques in this class are related to jazz repertoiore history and vocabulary. This course is suitable for intermediate/advanced guitarist who want to go deeper in the knowledge of the jazz guitar tradition.

Finally there is an international guitar school in Copenhagen where all students are not only learning how to play properly the guitar from a professional guitarist but also how to appreciate the meaning of the music and arts.

Students will also be prepared for professional music education. So whether the student wants to become a professional guitar player or play the guitar as a hobby, they will always learn a constructive way to play the guitar and perform with the instrument.

Lessons are open for everyone (children, teenagers, adults). The students are welcome to the lessons from the age of 6.
Carlos is currently working as a teacher in Copenhagen with his own music school, His students represent several nationalities.

Carlos has excellent motivation with his profession and he is driven to help his students to achieve their best. You will find him to be a positive, hard-working, down-to-earth person with a good sense of humor. Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona.

She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years.

For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen.

What can you expect from her teaching?

She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine!

In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world.

As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice.

She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision.

My name is Flóra and I am a clarinet teacher.
I have been teaching since 2013 in Hungary and Spain in Music Schools and giving private lessons.

I have experience with students from age 2-65. I prepare lessons for
Harmony, Music Theory and Clarinet.

Clarinet class: My main objective is that students can understand and feel the music to express themselves with the instrument. You will learn the clarinet technique and I will teach you all the elements that will help you to be a great performer of the instrument.

Music Theory class: I will teach you to read music sheets, to learn music vocabulary and rhythm. We will do intonation exercises and sing to train the ear.

With over 8 years of experience teaching music, to both children and adults, I am passionate about inspiring my pupils through art and music! I have experience in teaching both celtic and pedal harp, music theory and piano.

GuitarMap is a book I've penned, with plenty of shortcuts to understand harmony and how it works in guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, etc. Lessons are based on the book, which makes it easy to keep track of progress.
