About Me

Hi everyone!

My name is María Paula, I am Argentine, a professor and a graduate in Literature from the National University of Litoral.
I am currently pursuing my doctoral studies at the National University of La Plata as a CONICET fellow.
If I have to define myself in three words... CURIOUS, EMPATHETIC, ENTHUSIASTIC.
My curiosity has led me to study several languages. I believe that language says a lot about how each person perceives their experience.
Empathy is something my students teach me all the time, and studying languages that are foreign to me allows me to understand those insecure moments we all have when learning.
Enthusiasm comes from the results of meeting someone to learn from. I think that without a teacher who is enthusiastic about what he does, the path is more difficult.

Graduated from the National University of Litoral in 2016 as a professor of Letters. In 2015, as part of my university education, I studied at the Autonomous University of Madrid thanks to a scholarship from the Carolina Foundation-Banco Santander. I continued with my second degree, which awarded me the title of Bachelor of Letters in 2020. Currently, I am doing my PhD at the National University of La Plata, so I carry out research at several universities. At the moment, I am at the University of Rome III.
I was in Frankfurt, working at the university, and in June 2024 at the Universidad Javeriana in Colombia I presented my work as part of the EU-funded trans.Arch project.
Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have participated in national and international conferences. I specialize in Latin American literature studies.
Additionally, I am studying English and Italian and I work as a professor of Latin American Literature and Spanish, helping students with their theses.
