My name is Zoé, and I can help you. But first, a little bit of context : I am not à French teacher, but a passionate language learner. I speak English, Spanish fluently, German decently, and I am currently learning Arabic.

Even though I had classes of English and German at school, those classes really allow me to reach the level I currently hold. And I never took a single Spanish class.

So, how did I do it ? With the help of many other passionate polyglots I used a lot of different tools and learnt a great deal about language learning.

How to make it fun ? How to make it efficient ? How to make it useful ? What doesn’t work ? What is a waste of time ? What is a good goal when learning a new language ? What can I expect from a new language ? I am far from having all the answers, but I have some important ones.

What to expect when learning french with me ?

1. Unconventional ways of learning : a lot of conversations, from the beginning ; almost no english ; strange stories ; charades ; drawings. A lot of fun, I promise.

2. A completely personalized class : Even though there are a few things that you should learn in a certain order, we will adapt the content of classes to your current needs and desires.

3. The support of technology. A computer and internet can help a great deal when learning a language. I'll show you how to use those tools to help you in your language learning journey.

4. Fun and motivation. I am well placed to know that learning a language take time and dedication, and I'd expect that from you. But one of my roles will be to help you find the motivation and create the context to make that as easy as possible.

Classes can take place at your place or in an enjoyable public space (a café, a university,...).

Unless you learned to speak French when you were a child, it is difficult when you don't speak it fluently to pass for a French speaker.
