Ik studeer aan het conservatorium van Leuven en bied dynamische en motiverende lessen aan voor alle leeftijden. Mijn pedagogische aanpak stem ik af op de verschillende profielen en ambities van mijn leerlingen, om zo goed mogelijk aan hun verwachtingen te voldoen. Of je nu wilt starten met vioolspelen, je techniek wilt verfijnen, na een lange pauze weer wilt oppakken, op hoog niveau wilt spelen of gewoon voor de lol wilt genieten van muziek, dan is deze cursus is geschikt voor jou!

Présentation

Ik ben in de eerste plaats een gepassioneerde muzikante die haar plezier in het spelen wil delen. Van jongs af aan ben ik ondergedompeld geweest in de wereld van muziek. Ik deel dagelijks mijn passie door mee te spelen met orkesten, kamermuziek ensembles en solo concerten. Door mijn ervaring met diverse lesmethoden, bied ik gepersonaliseerde lessen aan die afgestemd zijn op de behoeften van elke leerling. Ik ben betrouwbaar en streef ernaar dat mijn leerlingen tevreden en gemotiveerd mijn lessen verlaten.

Education

Mijn middelbare school heb ik afgerond in 2019 in de richting latijn moderne talen. Later datzelfde jaar begon ik aan de Luca School of Arts aan het Lemmensinstituut in Leuven. In 2022 behaalde ik mijn bachelor diploma viool met onderscheiding bij Elisa Kawaguti. In 2024 behaalde ik mijn master viool onder leiding van Lilia Umnova. Tijdens mijn masteropleiding heb ik ook altviool opgenomen als minor. Ook met altviool heb ik al meegespeeld in verscheidene orkesten en kamermuziekensembles.

Expérience / Qualifications

Ik ben al interim vioolleerkracht geweest in de muziekschool van Ieper. Verder heb ik ook al enkele privélessen gegeven. Dit was zowel voor kindjes als volwassenen. Momenteel ben ik ook vioolleerkracht bij Music for Kids waar ik werk met zowel hoogbegaafde kinderen, die graag wat uitdaging krijgen, als met kinderen die zich wat moeilijker kunnen concentreren.

Bonjour,
je suis professeur de violon et violoniste. Ayant enseigné le violon pendant 20 ans et connaissant en profondeur différentes techniques instrumentales et différentes méthodes pédagogiques, je peux adapter mon enseignement aux besoins, à l'âge et au caractère de chaque élève. De plus, ma formation pédagogique combinée à l'expérience et aux connaissances uniques que m'ont données ma maternité relativement récente et mon amour pour les enfants et les autres êtres humains, m'a amenée à poursuivre un enseignement positif avec empathie envers l'élève qui vise à le faire heureux, d'aimer la musique et d'acquérir une base solide pour son développement global ! Je suis également capable d'enseigner avec la méthode Suzuki. J'enseigne aux enfants à partir de l'âge de 3 ans et même aux adultes. J'organise des concerts pour mes élèves au moins deux fois par an. Violist van het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel en het IMEP van Namen, ik geef vioollessen op alle niveaus, alle leeftijden, vanaf 5 jaar voor kinderen.

Met enkele jaren ervaring in het vioollesgeven zijn mijn lessen voor iedereen geschikt, wat je wensen ook zijn. Ik pas mijn werkwijze aan aan de wensen en leeftijd van de leerling, en het starten met een instrument als volwassene mag geen belemmering zijn.
Ik ben afgestudeerd in de musicologie aan de La Sorbonne en aan de ULB en bied ook ondersteunende cursussen aan in muzikale vorming, muziekgeschiedenis en analyse.

Een instrumentles duurt doorgaans een uur. Indien nodig kan ik de tijd tussen Viool en Muziekopleiding/Geschiedenis inkorten.

During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

Je m'appelle Juliette, jeune violoniste professionnelle ayant obtenu mon diplôme de master au conservatoire de Bruxelles en 2018 dans la classe de Shirly Laub. Forte de mon expérience, je propose des cours de violon et de solfège. J'enseigne le violon depuis 10 ans, tout en poursuivant mon activité de remplaçante à l'Orchestre National de Belgique et au Brussels Philharmonic.

In my classes I aim to transmit first of all my passion and love for music.
I like to prepare a personalized programme adapted to the level and exigencies of each pupil.
I also aim to include some violin duos, to be played with me during the lessons, as I believe playing with other musicians is one of the best ways to enjoy music and learn useful musical and technical skills at the same time.
Another essential factor in my classes is correct and natural posture while playing, to let music heal our souls instead of hurting our bodies! ;) I have been practicing Yoga for a few years, and have experienced the importance of good posture and targeted light stretching, especially for younger players in a phase of growth and change.
I like to help pupils to develop good technical skills in a fun way, always applying technique to targeted repertoire and keeping in mind that technique is nothing but a means of expressing ourselves through music.

I give lessons in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Ik ben Lisa en heb in 2024 een Master voor Viool behaald bij Lilia Umnova aan het conservatorium LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens. Sinds september 2024 ben ik van start gegaan met een Master voor Kamermuziek aan het conservatorium LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens, nog steeds in de klas van Lilia Umnova.
Naast mijn studies werk ik ook als Tuttist violiste in orkesten in België en Duitsland.

I obtained my master's degree at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts as a solo violinist, as well as in chamber music.
Since 2018 I have held a position in the 2nd Violin Group of the Belgian National Orchestra in Brussels.
As an enthusiastic chamber music player, I play regularly and give concerts with different ensembles in Belgium as the Brussels String Quartet.
Teaching and sharing with you all my music knowledge has a very important role in my life.
My research on how to deal with stress on stage is another topic that I find essential and very helpful for everyone who has some issues and wants to improve in that way.
