Strong experience with students of the French high school for the "Evening of Talents", as well as teaching a preparatory course for the entrance examination of La Cambre. Now a private lesson teacher for more than seven years, I have been able to welcome more than fifty different students of all ages, with whom we have discussed: - the basics of sewing and patronage (dress, pants, skirt, shirt, etc.), - the realization of customized models, - the design of a clothing line with a collection plan - or the reproduction of existing models from photos and even costumes of stars! In absolute terms, it is therefore possible to develop a personal project or basic learning. IMPORTANT: If you cancel LESS THAN 24 hours before the course, you will be CHARGED. No worries: no experience is required! 😁 I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,... After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! He provides you with the feedback you need to learn many things at the same time: He gives you tips for a good embouchure and shows you how to blow a proper tone. He teaches you how to play in tune and introduces you to tone articulation on the saxophone, when you are ready for it. He guides your own practice efficiently, so you can be certain to not loose time. In addition, you learn to read notes and a lot about music in general. Emidio is a kind, patient, supportive and encouraging saxophone teacher, who is ready to reply to whatever question you throw at him. Emidio communicates well and is clear. Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.

Doriane is a nice person as well as a very good teacher who is very knowledgable and skilled, and the most important, patient. I had 12 sessions with her and we made a wool trousers and a blouse using commercial patterns. I learned a lot of tips from her during those sessions. They will surely help me kick start my project on my own. I will like to recommand her to everyone at every level to learn sewing and making fassion.
