About Me
As a teacher, I would describe myself in a few keywords as follows: empathetic, driven, relaxed, precise, and critical.
My goal is to inspire my students a little more with every lesson, show them new things, and expand their capabilities on their instrument. I enjoy getting to know my students personally so that I can communicate with them as effectively as possible. I have gained extensive experience as a musician in various musical contexts and therefore already possess a comprehensive toolkit to work with different students. I have experience teaching levels ranging from absolute beginners up to (pre)conservatory level. For me, lessons must be enjoyable but also productive. Therefore, I expect my students to make time outside of guitar lessons to practice and learn based on the tips and tools I impart to them during the lessons.

From 2013 to 2022, I played in the guitar ensemble Alegria, with which we performed concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Hungary. In Belgium, I play in the duo BLIK together with violinist Isaura Billiet, presenting a program that is very varied in style. In Germany, I play music from South America with the duo Zoque and flutist Sebastian Moleno.
I am also very active as a choir singer, with a tour through Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy last summer with the World Youth Choir and the BJO, and performances in Japan a few months ago, including at the World Expo in Osaka.
As a choir conductor, I was already working with various choirs in the Waregem area.
