Every step of the guitar-learning process can be a fantastic adventure! My aim is to help my students to learn and perform music they enjoy and at the same time improve their skills and understanding of music.
Thus, all classes are personalized to each student.

Everyone who wants to explore the world of music is welcome to enroll in my classes; beginners and experts, kids and adults are all welcome to schedule the first lesson.

About Me:
I am Lithuanian classical guitar player currently located in the Hague. I started playing classical guitar at the age of 8. During all these years I have participated in many classical guitar contests and festivals, both local, national and international. Moreover, I am actively performing in Lithuania and The Netherlands as a soloist and with various ensembles.

Education

Bachelor degree in Classical Guitar Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Hague, followed by minor studies in Music Education at the Koninklijk Conservatorium.

Expérience / Qualifications

Because of the Music Education course I have had an opportunity to learn various methods and adapt them when teaching other pupils. Furthermore, my teachers and professors have greatly inspired and enchanted me with this profession. Therefore, I would love to share my experience, knowledge and motivate my students in their musical journey.

I am a young, dynamic, and qualified teacher (Master in Music pedagogy & Master in Performance) giving:
Violin lessons for beginners and advanced students, adults, and children as early as age 4.

With experience teaching students of all ages, Sandra Pérez is an acclaimed clarinet player who will help you achieve your musical goals -whether it may be just getting acquainted with the clarinet or if you are already looking to pursue higher education. Can't read music? No problem! Complementary music theory and music history are part of the class as needed.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level.

I started playing the piano when I was 8 years old. By that time I already could feel I would become a professional musician and teacher. I got my first bachelor in piano in 2007. When I was 13 years old, I started having harpsichord lessons and expanding my knowledge of classical and early music. In 2012 I got my bachelor degree in harpsichord and in 2014 my master degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. Currently, I’m working with my ensemble, teaching piano and harpsichord, and am now doing my Ph.D. in Performative Arts at Leiden University

I absolutely love to teach and pass my experience as a musician to my students on both instruments. I like to see them improving and have fun while playing.
I work with several ways of teaching, depending on the student level and music background.

Normally I work with piano methods with kids from 9 -12 years old. I can teach music theory if necessary and if it will improve the student’s needs to progress and reach their goals, I do that with pleasure. Harmony and a bit of keyboard improvisation are also very welcome to the class.

My specialty is classical music, more specifically, baroque music, although I have notions of pop, jazz, and improvisation. Because I have sporting and personal training backgrounds, I’m specialized also on correcting postures and eventually avoid or solve pain issues when regarding playing.

I started with recorder when I was 6 years old and later with the oboe.
I came to the Netherlands in 1999 to study baroque oboe and got my Master of Music degree in 2005.
Since 1997 I have given private lessons (both for oboe and recorder) and am an oboe teacher with the Leer Orkest Amsterdam. I have a lot of experience with children and adult students.
In addition to my activities as a teacher I am also very active as a performing musician

Japanese professional pianist, conductor and composer, graduated at Conservatoire du Paris, Tokyo University of Arts and Fontys, I give music lessons according to the needs (including the place of the lesson) of each student.
I have been teacher at Conservatoire de Paris (CNSM) for 8 years. Currently I work sometimes at Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag.
As my parents who are both chorus conductor and music teacher, teaching is always my big passion beside of my activity on stage ! It's my great pleasure to support each student to find his (her) way to enjoy the music. I am a recorder and classical singing student at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. I have experience with teaching the recorder to students aged 4 to 60 years old.

My lessons are characterized by a relaxed atmosphere and I find it important to listen to the wishes of my students and adapt my lessons to their personal needs. For the younger students, I aim to teach a combination of recorder technique and posture, music theory and singing and stimulate their creativity in a playfull way. In this way they become acquainted with all aspects of music making. I also aim to incorporate ensemble playing in my lessons, together with me or with other students.

My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students.
I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place!

FIRST LESSON:
The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste.

TECHNIQUE:
Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge.
In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly!

Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun!

ABOUT ME:

I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota.
During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain.
Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio.
I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

Individual cello lessons focusing on the needs of the student.
The main focus is developing the musicality as well as the technique of the student.
Lessons for total beginners, as well as advanced cellists.

I study at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and studied in Paris before living in the Netherlands. I already gave lessons and will have my teaching diploma in January 2023.

An accessible instrument and a chameleon, the recorder opens the doors to all styles: classical music and particularly early music, but also traditional music (French, Irish...), jazz, contemporary...
It is learned young, even very young, or later, when the desire takes you and curiosity torments you! A particularly sociable instrument, it likes to play with the family, with other flutes, to integrate into various ensembles, or even to accompany itself on a keyboard... But what could be purer and more touching than the sound of a single recorder that resonates in beautiful acoustics?
As you will have understood, I am passionate about it, and, with a Master's degree in hand, I offer recorder lessons that are suitable for everyone. The basics of music theory are not necessary because I can integrate them into my lessons. I offer sessions of 30 to 60 minutes depending on the age and level of the student, varying the activities and approaches in the same session for more richness and dynamism!

I am Héloïse, a french cellist and singer who lives in The Netherlands since two years. I finished to study at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium in june and am now a professional musician and, among other a cello teacher at the Lindenberg Center in Nijmegen.

After teaching music theory for two years in a french conservatory, I realised how much teaching is very important for me and helps me to grow as a musician. I like to adapt to the student and try to find a solution in any pedagogical situation.
I can teach all cello and singing levels, and all ages. I can also give some music theory lessons.
The lessons can be at my place in The hague or online but also at the student place, in english or french.

Hi! I'm a French violinist currently in my 4th year of a classical violin Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and I hold a DEM (Diplôme d'Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris (Regional Paris conservatory) where I studied with Florin Szigeti.
I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Josef Spacek, Pavel Vernikov, Olivier Charlier, Igor Volochine, Marianne Piketty, and I love sharing everything I’ve learned from them through my own teaching.

I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings.
