I'm Danilo, an italian guitarist trained in Jazz music at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
After more than 13 years of experience on the guitar I can confidently say I can transmit all I learned on the instrument to students of all different ages and levels.
I dedicated most of my time on the instrument in overcoming struggles and finding tactics to correct bad habits and learning effectively.
Together we can explore secrets and tips for an healthy guitar practice routine, improve your technique and ear training abilities with direct and fun exercises.
Wether you are a beginner or an intermediate/advanced guitarist, we can explore the instrument and all its possibilities.
Practicing and playing with a teacher in a one on one situation was the most effective way I encountered to get better faster, so I advise it to all the guitar and music lovers out there.

I'm Danilo, an Italian guitarist based in The Netherlands. I love music and all the emotions that can generate in us listeners and players. I wish to transmit my passion for my instrument to anyone that approaches the guitar in a fun and rewarding experience.

With 20 years of experience as a guitar teacher and as a professional musician, I like to pass on my passion for the guitar to others.
I teach at all levels; from beginners to advanced, and specialize in jazz, flamenco, classical, bossa nova, rock, funk and metal.
On the basis of the level of the student I make a program that suits them, including learning songs with chords, playing riffs, rhythm theory, speed, improvisation, specific techniques, transcription of solos.
I also teach entire bands, using control so that they can play well together.

With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts.

I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department.

I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!!

I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages.
