Who is your teacher?
Teaching is an Art and a Knowledge! Anybody can know a language but everybody cannot teach it!

I am the affiliated researcher at the university with a 16 - year experience as a teacher, supervisor, editor - teaching Academic and General English, supervising and training the staff, at 3 public and private universities, 2 schools and 6 institutes.

I got my master in ELT - English Language Teaching and I have the certificate of "Teaching Methods".
I know 5 languages and I am learning my 6th language at the moment.

What do you want to learn?

I am Iranian who lives hear 3 years. I was a teacher for too many child and adult. So I have many experience in teaching. I am hear to help you to learn a new language with too many fun. Doesn't matter how old you are. we can make it together.

I teach Farsi on 6 different levels. For each level, I use chapters from a combined text and workbook to teach students writing, speaking and listening skills. Despite the fact that the book already covers a large variety of exercises, I supplement these exercises myself based on the needs of the students. My lessons are of course interactive, where I always start by explaining a new grammar part, after which students work with me (private lesson) or in a small group (group lessons). I always give students homework, where they can use the opportunity to send in the assignments and receive (written) feedback.

My teaching style is characterized by the patience that I show when explaining, both at the beginning of the lessons, as well as when something becomes less clear during the exercises. My patience is also experienced as very pleasant by my students.

I'm Omid, an artist, and architect living in Rotterdam, from Tehran, Iran. I grew up as a native Farsi-speaking person, I studied architecture at a university in Tehran, and then I moved to the Netherlands when I was 24 years old. So I can say I still remember a lot of my Persian skills! With all the other things that I'm doing right now, I love to teach and be involved with teaching the Persian language!
