Whether you’re struggling to understand Shakespeare, grasping the themes of a set novel, or not knowing how to do persuasive writing I provide tutoring in both the English Literature and English Language curriculum for secondary school pupils ages 11-18 years. In my classes, I will provide help with essay writing, analysing novels, plays and poetry and give you the confidence you need to tackle GCSE and A level exams. For younger pupils at KS3 I am happy to tailor to the pupil's needs and provide any support they require at this stage in their learning. I have experience teaching Shakespeare, gothic texts, graphic novels, An Inspector Calls, creative writing, viewpoint writing, power and conflict poetry, Macbeth, A Christmas Carol and the AQA exam specific papers and texts. I am DBS certified, with a GCSE in English Literature and English Language, an A Level in English Literature and a First Class Honours degree in English and Creative Writing. I have just received my Qualified Teacher Status in English literature and language. Note that timings may vary if in person depending on the location of the student.

We will explore the foundation of Generative AI, understand their architecture, and discuss various applications. From creating artwork to designing models for data augmentation, generative AI has vast potential. By the end of this course, students will be able to conceptualise, create, and refine their own generative models using OpenAI.

This class will not only teach you how to expertly read and analyse any film, but cover the fascinating process of making them. From scriptwriting and pre-production, right through to the final edit and distribution, this class will equip you with newfound cinematic skills and knowledge, whether you're someone simply interested in learning more about the craft or a student studying the subject at secondary school or college. Covering both practical and theoretical topics, Filmmaking for Beginners will have you looking at your favourite films in an entirely different light, and may even inspire you to make some of your own!

What does the A’ Level course involve? Business Studies can be continued at A' Level where you can further develop a critical understanding of organisations and the markets they serve through deeper study of the above subject areas.

I am currently a student at the University of Gloucestershire studying Primary Education (Maths Specialism). I completed my A-Levels in 2018 with straight As in Maths, Psychology and Biology and completed my GCSEs in 2016 with 3 A*s (including Maths) and 9 As. I have been tutoring for over three years now and all my students have passed their GCSE maths exam. I once improved a student's grade from a 1 to a 4 in one year. I aim to make all lessons fun and engaging as I believe students will learn more if they're motivated and enjoying themselves. I create my own worksheets so I am confident that all my resources are high-quality and contain all the possible questions that could be asked in the exam. My worksheets ask more questions on areas that students frequently get stuck at and it breaks harder topics into smaller, more manageable steps for the students to reduce their cognitive load so they may find learning easier and they can remember the learning long-term. Depending on the progress/current attainment of the student, I sometimes create a personalised long term lesson plan alongside the student so they understand where they should be in their studies and keeps them motivated to learn and not fall behind my expectations of them. This gets altered after past paper practice and any feedback from tests from the class teacher. Each week I assign a past paper (or several questions from a past paper) so students gain the ability to understand what the question is asking and this allows them to practice several areas so they are not forgotten. This also enables me to see their progress and adapt future lessons accordingly. I mark these papers (however I do offer the chance for student to mark these to offer them insight into what examiners looks for) and go through them in detail with the student in the next lesson to further their learning.
