French can be a difficult language to learn, especially if you are not surrounded by it all the time. However, a new language can be a useful for a CV, for University application, or even for your own cultural knowledge and experience. I can provide help with existing homework if you are already at school, and, I can be a source of practice (as practice makes progress!). I am very flexible and we can discuss what you feel you need to study. I will be here to offer advice on different things you can do to improve.

French is a very beautiful language but this one is rather complex. I offer fun learning, adapted to the knowledge of the apprentice. The goal here is to progress by taking the time necessary to memorize each notion. I have been an examiner for AQA and am familiar with both AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A-level specifications, having taught the Edexcel spec before. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. For help with writing: The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The other alternative is to make a PV of the course that I send (or that I print).
