Hi! I'm a British English tutor with a fun and flexible style. I focus on your needs and interests, and I customize every lesson to match your level and goals. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, we’ll work at your pace.

My lessons are conversation-based, not textbook-heavy, and follow CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) — a global system to track your English progress from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). You'll improve real-life communication skills while having fun!

I teach British English, and I’ll also help you understand the differences between UK and US English (vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling, etc.).

Lessons are always relaxed and friendly — perfect for students of all ages. I also offer fun English events and outings for more natural, real-world speaking practice.

Let’s enjoy English together and build your confidence step by step!

About Me
Hi!
I'm from the UK and have been living in Japan for the last 8 years. I currently live alone with my husky, Jez, and her puppies 🐕😅(rehoming). Together we enjoy camping trips🏕️, visiting temples ⛩️& shrines, and playing in rivers 🏞️& the sea🏖️. 😄

I love teaching. I believe learning should be fun.
After teaching English in Japan's kindergartens, elementary & junior high schools, Eikaiwa's, and International kindergartens, I decided to go freelance with my tutoring job.
This way I can teach that are more suitable for my students and am more flexible.
I now use a curriculum developed based on CEFR, which is conversation-based, textbook-free. I use PowerPoints to teach, with games, videos & music.
I also like to take my lessons outdoors, no better way to learn than by having fun. In previous cases, I've taken my students' to the zoo, done Easter egg hunts or lesson games in the local park, or down Halloween or Christmas parties.
