Hi !

My name is Nacho, I've just sold my grand piano and moved to Köln in order to pursue a career in music, so I am always practicing and doing concerts so I guess it can really motivate you to practice. I am graduated with honors in Piano Performance programs, I really love my job and I hope to help you with your development as a musician.

If the lessons are for your children I think I am really good with kids because I make them enjoy music and I know how to adapt to their needs and goals. I have several experiences with classical music, studying with world-class pianist and universities as Royal College of Music (London), Conservatorio Superior Joaquín Rodrigo (Valencia), Folkwang University of the Arts (Essen), Hochschule für Musik (Köln). In addition, as hobby I enjoy to do modern music.

I speak English since I lived in London for one year and my native language is Spanish, I am learning German as fast as I can but at the beginning, lessons wouldn't be in German. Hi! My name is Nacho and I am a certified piano teacher from Spain. My average grade was 8.2/10 so I am really passionate about music and piano. I would like to help you to reach your goals in music. I will help you to improve your technique, musicality, practice quality to save time or being more productive.

Communication is key, in my lessons I try to listen and understand the musician and give a third-person vision to grow the skills to reach a good performance. As a student, I feel that a teacher is a fundamental figure in one's life while setting out on a new learning experience. I would love to show my students the wonders of playing the piano, explore together the numerous emotions that we can express through music and discover an entire world of marvels.

I already have a vast teaching experience, ranging from small kids to young adults. I am available for students of all ages and levels.

In my Oboe lessons I like to focus on the individual needs of the student, for instance breathing technique, posture, the embouchure, or finger work. I set my lessons around the music my students are learning and focus on creativity within the music and exploring the different ways of musicality, so that my students can have a wide skill set of phrasings, dynamics and articulations.
I include reed making in my classes depending on the student's ability with the instrument, and I am very happy to provide reeds as well as an extra service.

When I teach piano, I include a range of different styles in my lessons. For beginners, I work from various books to encourage them to learn how to read notes on the page as well as playing freely. I also include melody writing which makes the process of learning notes and music easier and more exciting for the student.
