I am a young, motivated, and enthusiastic mathematics, computer science, and study methods teacher.

Students may not always be able to follow along well in certain lessons because sometimes things go fast, and sometimes just need a little more time to understand certain things. Understanding the subject matter is very important. I therefore offer tailor-made extra lessons for every student! Every student is different and learns differently. Because of the teacher training that I have followed and the years of experience in giving tutoring, I know a lot of (online) tools with which students can store things efficiently and better in memory. The student will realize that learning in this way is also much more fun!

I am studying Mathematics at the University of Cambridge (graduated my bachelor's degree with highest distinction in June 2023, I will start my master's in October 2023) and systematically obtained >90% in mathematics and physics.

My math teacher wrote about me in her recommendation letter for the University of Cambridge: “And very important as well, he is a good communicator and apt to share his knowledge. Whenever we do teamwork, a quiz or a game in the classroom, everyone wants to be in the same group as Zephyr. ”

I have 4 younger brothers who regularly ask me for help when they are stuck with their school work. By helping them with this I learned how to explain subject matter. In 2019 I started paying tutoring. In the meantime I have already tutored dozens of students, for secondary school material, and preparation for entrance exams for universities.

It is important for me to discuss with you, parents and student at the end of the first lesson whether what you expect will be feasible. This way I can be sure that you will be satisfied with the lessons.

My goal is to update the student as quickly as possible in any area where there is a backlog, so that the student is not even more behind.

As a young graduate from Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology I am affiliate with all engineering sciences and mathematics. In my classes you learn Spanish at your own pace and with flexible hours. At school you learn Spanish and when you speak to the people themselves it is completely different.
Spanish is my mother language so I can teach you correct Spanish and also prepare you to communicate with Spanish speaking people.

My goal is that you feel comfortable and speak the language confidently.

I also offer classes for children in Spanish. Sometimes it can be difficult to keep up with a second language and I definitely want to help them with that.

Hello everyone! I hold a CELTA teaching qualification in Spanish and a doctorate in Italian. I have been teaching Italian and Spanish for more than 5 years. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Spanish for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). Are you looking for math tutoring for yourself or for your child/student, from primary school to all levels of secondary education? Then I can help you. I am patient and do more than just help with homework. First we examine together whether the problem is general or there are just a few specific questions.

For some specific questions, we can probably solve the problems with some extra lessons, for example in the run-up to exams or a big test to cross the i's and cross the t's.

For larger problems such as study method problems, we will have to opt for more structural tutoring in consultation with the parents/student (can be once a week/2 weeks/month, for example). I don't have a magic wand, but if the child is motivated, we can really achieve a lot.

Online tutoring is possible, but I prefer more traditional methods: I sit next to the student and we work with pen and paper, with or without the parent nearby (some young people feel calmer if the parent stays nearby, others find it which is embarrassing; I'm also a stranger to the parent, so I understand if you want to stay close). I prefer as little screen time as possible, I can show examples on the computer, for example we can make graphs and calculations in wolfram alpha or I can provide geometric animations in geogebra.

I have hundreds of hours of experience in tutoring.
I participated in the summer course for incoming secondary education students who want to test whether their mathematics level is up to standard to start a mathematics or engineering course at university.
