Trusted teacher: CLASSES IN SPANISH, CATALAN, FRANÇAIS, DEUTSCH, ENGLISH I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège. I live in Madrid and I'm a student pursuing a higher degree in singing (jazz and contemporary music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (music and language) through private online or in-person lessons. I started giving private lessons to children at their homes when I lived in Germany. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I taught piano to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied piano and other instruments for over 15 years at the UGDA and the Luxembourg City Conservatory. After many years of solfège and piano, I obtained the Conservatory's "Première Mention" certificate with the highest possible grade, "Très Bien". A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student. However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in! This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano. In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP! Lessons can be in English or Dutch. So who am I? In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege. On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year. Ghous is a very kind and pleasant teacher. He explains everything clearly and is always responsive and supportive. He adapts to the student’s pace and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling and learning preferences. He has a strong command of Electrical Engineering topics and is able to explain even complex concepts in a simple and understandable way. Ghous is also very helpful with assignments, even when they are in a different language, which shows both his deep subject knowledge and his adaptability. I’m very satisfied with his lessons and would definitely recommend him to others.

Alessandro has been a very motivating Italian teacher who consistently adapted his lessons to my needs and challenges. As a native Italian speaker with an in-depth command of the language, he has an excellent understanding of the language's grammar and idiom which he can explain clearly and effectively. His lessons were interactive and well structured, usually combining checking grammar and translation homework with new material, conversation or listening exercises.
