Trusted teacher: Engineer with a double degree from the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne (Major in microelectronics, computer science and new technologies in addition to a research master's degree in industrial engineering and operational research), holder of a bachelor's degree in economics from Paris Sud, currently a consultant and passionate about mathematics, I offer my services of private lessons for the high school level. With more than 7 years of experience in private lessons, I have accompanied several students in difficulty or in improvement. All my students observed a significant improvement in their results in mathematics throughout the school year and all obtained for the majority of mentions in the baccalaureate. My classes are oriented towards the improvement of the notions of mathematics mainly from secondary school (second, first and final - all sections), I also work with 3rd year students. I provide exam preparation courses (Baccalaureate, patent, competition etc.) which are dedicated to the practice of annals and exercises to prepare for the test. These courses are an opportunity to put yourself in a situation and to approach a maximum of themes to be psychologically confronted with a test format. Internships and courses can relate to all disciplines of mathematics: Derivation, Functions, Complex numbers, geometry, probabilities, Numerical sequences, probabilities .... I have a digital tablet and software that can virtually reproduce the experience of a courtroom. All the student needs is skype or zoom. I also have lesson videos that I can share with you so that you can see the format of a virtual lesson. The course can be recorded by the student if he wishes so in order to revise a posteriori.

Trusted teacher: *****German text below***** About myself: My name is Manuele and I am 30 years old. I'm good-humoured, creative person and if my lab is not blowing up into my face, I'm also very calm and hearty. Currently, I am working as a PhD in an interdisciplinary field of chemistry and physics. I have a Masters degree in chemistry as well as a Bachelors with a major in chemistry and a minor in physics. In the past years, I had the privilege to acquire fundamental knowledge in chemistry, physics and mathematics at a top academic institution. For my achievements, I was honored three times by the faculty of Chemistry with the Werner price and for my dissertation I was awarded the semester price. My Philosophy: My objective is to provide individual approaches to convert weaknesses into strengths and to face challenges with the certainty of success. In the past four years, I have been able to acquire an extensive repertoire of experience in this area. I now try to pass this experience on to my students in the best possible way My personal goal is that students no longer worry after an exam about whether the exam was passed or not, but that they are annoyed if the best possible grade was not achieved. In order to guarantee improved results, I only accept 2 students within the same time period (in English and/or German). I'm looking forward to meeting you! Dear greetings Manuel *****German text***** About myself: My name is Manuele and I am 30 years old. I'm a cheerful, creative person and when I'm not busy with my lab, I'm very relaxed and hearty. Welcome to an exciting journey into the enigmatic world of cosmic rays! This high school-level course is designed to introduce you to the captivating realm of cosmic rays, particles which travel vast distances through the cosmos before reaching earth. This course blends hands-on data analysis with a comprehensive understanding of the theory behind these high-energy particles. Throughout this course, you'll delve into the mysteries of cosmic rays, investigating their origins, detection, and interactions with our atmosphere. Engage in practical experiments and data analysis using real cosmic ray data collected from ground-based detectors, unraveling the patterns and characteristics of these elusive particles. The curriculum is divided in a balanced way between theoretical knowledge and practical application. You'll explore fundamental physics concepts essential to understanding cosmic rays, including particle interactions, (very basic) relativity, quantum mechanics, and astrophysics. Lectures, discussions, and interactive sessions will deepen your understanding of these theoretical foundations and their relevance to cosmic ray research. Do not panic! All the theory is presented in a very engaging way, adapted to the technical level to each student. Key Topics: * Introduction to Cosmic Rays: Origins, Composition, and Detection Methods * Introduction to particle physics detection techniques (with real particle detector examples) * Data Collection and Analysis (python or C/C++): Hands-on Experience with Real Cosmic Ray Data * Astrophysical Implications: Cosmic Rays and the Universe * Advanced Topics (for the very enthusiastic): Cosmic ray astrophysics and state-of-the-art detectors used currently in the research world. Class Format: In the basic variant, this course will blend theory lectures with computer-based data analysis. For the very enthusiastic students, there is also a possibility to build their own particle detector. Assessment: Assessment will be based on a combination of individual and group projects, quizzes, data analysis reports, and a final presentation or research paper that showcases your understanding of cosmic rays, both theoretically and practically. Prerequisites: Curiosity! The only pre-requisite for this course is the curiosity of how our universe works, and what can we do as humans to understand it as much as possible! Join me on this cosmic adventure, where theoretical exploration meets empirical investigation, and together, let's unravel the secrets of these cosmic messengers!
