Private Piano & Violin & Music Theory Lessons:
I teach private Piano and Violin lessons as well as Music Theory. (For traditional fiddle playing i offer only the basics for beginners)
Why should someone choose me?
I have a passion for European classical music and I enjoy teaching people of all ages. I am a senior violinist and a graduate of conservatory studies in piano instrument playing and have been involved with both instruments for almost two decades. I'm currently in the process of getting a degree in violin instrument playing which I'll probably get by the next year, I hold a diploma in conservatory studies in piano instruments playing with a perfect grade and with a diploma award and a open jury commendation and have also in the past taken part in piano competitions. I hold a conservatory degree in harmony and counterpoint and fugue all with a grade of excellent from a recognized conservatory and I am now involved in composition having completed all the other higher theoretical courses. In my second leve education i have graduated from the Ilion Music School with a high school diploma, and I have 6+ years of long-term studies at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
