Although the Tarot of Marseille appeared in Italy at the end of the 15th century, it is now practiced and interpreted according to the late tradition of 19th-century occultists, which opposes the original philosophy of its creators, cutting the tarot off from its roots. I propose that you go back in time and immerse yourself in the practice of tarot from the early centuries through teaching that is both theoretical and practical. With me, you don't just learn to interpret cards according to the original Western tradition, you experience the spiritual power of each card so that the tarot becomes a true compass for your soul, in the manner of our ancestors. If the Tarot of Marseille seems obscure to newcomers, it's because we are often unfamiliar with the Neoplatonic, Hermetic, Christian, and Kabbalistic myths and symbols hidden behind each card. To benefit from a quality learning experience, it's not necessary to memorize endless lists of definitions; simply understanding the story, myth, or philosophical/theological concept associated with each card is enough to grasp its full essence and complexity. My courses are structured around two main axes: I) INTERPRETATION: MYTHS, CONTEXTS AND SYMBOLS To grasp the true essence of the Tarot of Marseille, it is essential to understand it not with our modern perspective but with the eyes of a 15th-century European. Therefore, the student will begin by familiarizing themselves with the cultural, philosophical and religious context specific to 15th century Italy, then they will discover the myths, stories, symbols and teachings specific to each major arcana. II) SPIRITUAL EXPERIMENTATION The Tarot of Marseille was initially conceived as a teaching aid but also as a tool allowing the soul to experience the Divine by illuminating the path that leads to the source of Life. To fully grasp the Tarot of Marseille, it is necessary to experience the spiritual power of each card through meditation exercises, prayers, and mystical experiences. I can teach you the basics of Tarot. I have been practicing it for almost 5 years. I have a Raider Waite deck so I can especially teach you that one. In my course we will connect to our intuition and see what the cards reveal. I think it is much better to learn the cards on our own and through readings rather than just knowing their symbolism by heart. So there is much more fluidity. They show you new doors through which new opportunities can pass and the way in which the main elements in your life are connecting and the impact that this produces. From this joint analysis you will have new tools to create your life and flow with it. The classes on Tarot reading and interpretation are practical and experiential. I base myself on the method described by Alejandro Jodorowsky in which the TAROT is conceived as a mandala, interconnected. My goal is that you, with my support, develop your vision and your ability to capture the symbols of the arcana and how they relate to each other. It is in the relationship of the symbols that we find the meaning of a reading. All the arcana are related to everything and what I will show you and you will discover is what this relationship is like and how each relationship has a different frequency and resonance. We will dedicate the first classes to familiarizing you with the tarot, understanding its structure and how the arcana relate to each other. How the ancient language of the tarot represents the energies with which we move daily, such as creative, intellectual, emotional and material energy through the arcana and how its archetypal language works. We will go as deep as you are willing. We will carry out some experiential exercises with meditations so that you feel the archetypes of the arcana and understand why they carry these symbols and not others. Little by little in each class we will unravel the tarot in its parts, sharpening your vision, your intuition, until you feel that the arcana establish a relationship with you and you manage to know and feel the subtlety of its language. Then you will be ready to interpret simple readings and little by little others where several arcana come into motion at the same time. About me I have been using the Marseille TAROT as a self-knowledge and therapeutic tool for 15 years.
